We had been a little frustrated with the process of dealing with realtors (we had already fired two previous realtors), so our expectations were pretty high. Mike has exceeded all our standards. He met with us quickly and worked to set up showings for a series of houses we had identified. He did this with almost no notice from us. He offered very valuable insights not only into each individual property, but the local housing markets, schools, neighborhood safety and thoughts on future valuations. We found our home and he worked hard to get our offer to the sellers. They accepted. On the seller side, there were many problems ranging from them damaging the home after our walkthrough and an unwillingness to make things right. Mike took it upon himself to help with some of the cleanup needed to make the house move-in ready. Our escrow is closing today, and there is no way we could have gotten through this process without Mike. We cannot thank him enough for his professionalism, honesty, and cleaning our carpets in our new home! You will not regret hiring Mike at North State!

For the…read morelast five months, however, the trash collection has been grossly inadequate, and the management has done NOTHING but talk about it. They actually made it worse by removing the recycle bins, so now all the recycle is being dumped into the trash bin. I've also complained about a rat or rats running around the attic above my apartment. The management has done NOTHING effective about this issue either. The management suggested that I was making this up -- until they showed up with a manager from the post control company who confirmed there had been a rat or rats in my attic. For the rent they charge, this should be a garden spot; instead the parking area and trash dumpster look like a slum. Last week, I called the corporate offices for times and never got a call back. So it seems that neither the corporate office nor the local management gives a hoot about its tenants. Save yourself money and aggravation; rent elsewhere.
