As of last January, Jenn H. left a 1 Star review and stated, "the owner and customer (who also was not wearing a mask) began openly discussing how the recent election was fraudulent and COVID-19 being a hoax. Like? Sir, you own a health/nutrition store that's serving the public seeking to improve their health DURING a pandemic... Conspiracy theories was not at all what I was expecting, especially it being my first time there. After I read this, I didn't call. I found this to be interesting because I've known the owner for years and had no idea he was a right-wing-nut. Anyway, a few days later I had to drive to Patel Brothers and decided to stop at Simply Natural along the way to check if they had the product. The minute I walked in I saw a woman that I don't recall ever encountering before. She said she worked there years ago and had ventured on her own alternative health career, but she returned because ironically the owner died 2 weeks prior on Aug 24th of Covid-19. I couldn't believe it when she said it, I walked out of the store in shock. I was pacing up and down for a while, then I went Bravo supermarket and bought some Dominican food before I returned. This was actually the first person I've known directly who died from covid. It's all so unnecessary because the cure for it is right in front of you, but the Pharmaceutical Industry to suppressing it through social media platforms like Youtube, Facebook, and Instagram to make all this money off of the vaccines. Either way, this is the best store to find hard-to-find nutritional supplements, plus they are loaded with basically anything you are looking for in alternative health and nutrition. The prices can seem a little high, but again they have items you will not find anywhere else.

Once I went to a real functional medicine Dr they discovered what the cause of all of my health issues was in one visit. I really enjoyed seeing Dr Singh, unfortunately she prescribed me a new medication at every visit. Prozac, Wellbutrin, adderall, Xanax, etc. A functional medicine Dr does not polydrug their patient to mask their symptoms. Then came my 4 year long journey of withdrawal due to Dr Singh abruptly taking me off all the antidepressants she had me on. She has done this to 2 other people that I know personally, and they have suffered equally as much as me as a result. When I realized that I was in withdrawal, her only response to me was "want me to send you another prescription for Prozac?" I stayed off all the meds and finally made out of the withdrawal hell, battled severe withdrawal symptoms including depression, suicidal ideation, panic attacks and horrific akathisia just to share a few and I now feel strong and amazing and I am returning to warn others and perhaps educate the Dr herself of the damages that overprescribing can cause.
