Came to Sierra Gold as coworker resigned and had a send off party here. Spacious interior, smaller parking lot, and few slot machines at the bar. Somewhat rustic looking. What surprised me was rather poor selection of beer...bud light, coots light, Michelob ultra. Stella Artois as an import and that's that. No IPA no microbrews, not even Blue Moon for gods sake! While my salad was really good, I put my appetizer in all caps because it suffered from freezer burn and had a funny taste. Tread carefully on this one. I think Gordon Ramsey is right, if the menu is large, be weary. Ask what's popular because that's usually what is fresh. The pierogies were not. Went in to watch a little hockey and craved a burger. Although they have great wings, a burger I was. Fairly crowded at the bar for a Friday. Which was fine. I prefer a table anyway. Hockey was on, not the Knights though. 80's rap music was on and the vibe was great! After 10 minutes the waitress came by and took my drink order. She said she'll be back for my food order. Normally it wouldn't take that long but as I watched the crowd, I caught her on the other side of the bar. She was working all of the bar completely alone. She made her towards me and went right by. Ok, I thought. She's very busy. No worries. 5 minutes have passed and she stopped and took my order. "Busy?" I asked. "Yes, and it's my 2nd day here." I told her I've been watching her fly out all over the bar. She was waiting on people constantly! From the bar to the table then from the kitchen to the table. She was extremely busy. I told her don't worry about it I'm in no rush. So my food came out, I heard the steakhouse burger and it was delicious! I've never had it but I highly recommend it! The waitress's name was Kendall. She did an awesome job, kept a smile on her face and was constantly moving with food and drinks. When she did talk to me she always had a positive attitude and a smile. I haven't been here in a couple years and the last time I was here I had a pretty good experience even though I didn't stay too long. I just dropped in for a late night bite to eat and maybe a pint or two, apparently I came at the wrong day and time. I was told the kitchen closed and the cook called out. That was unfortunate news because the last time I came here the food was pretty good! I do like the decor they have inside and right before you enter the main area, a pretty cool VGK (Vegas Golden Knights) display as you walk through the front doors. The pint was pretty good, it was their own in-house brew, the name slips from me at the moment. But this experience wasn't too great and the bartender didn't really seem into it much. Service, the woman bartenders at all the PTs & Serria Gold locations barely work, its like they are just hanging out, I frequent many of these locations for lunch and dinner, and they are all way to busy chatting it up then actually working, checking on the customers who sit down, they are all so complacent in doing alittle as possible, the company GoldenGaming is a piss poor company, many of these female bartenders would get fired at any other establishment, maybe the upper management of GoldenGaming shoud all be fired, this company should make a effort to send in plain clothes customers to take a consensus of who works and who doesnt, cause these establishment have went way down hill on service over the last few years read more

Met some friends for drinks. We had already had dinner and it was the night after Christmas and the bar was fairly empty. The restaurant itself and bar were fairly clean and it was a nice looking atmosphere. We had a couple drinks and didn't get food but seemed like slow service. All I can think is the waitress must've been working by herself because there wasn't that many people in the restaurant. This is an okay location that doesn't seem to get overly crowded. My first visit to this location was a few years ago and it seem like they've definitely made some improvements since that time. The bar is fairly large and we've never had a problem finding a seat in front of the gaming. There are plenty of tables set back a bit from the bar and a couple of games at the back. The bathrooms are clean as well. The bartenders are pretty good and check in fairly often. My mixed drinks have always been good. The food is standard bar food so not bad, but nothing notable either. Went here for my buddy's fantasy football draft. We were allowed to use the private back room which was pretty nice although a bit disorganized. It was cool though that we were allowed to rearrange furniture and tables to how we wanted it though. I ordered the Kendrick sandwich and a hefeweizen both of which were surprisingly good. The sandwich sounded good on the menu and delivered once eaten. I was annoyed that it was $17 though and $9 for a large beer. The food is good but definitely not worth that much. There are cheaper options but for the most part the whole menu seemed to be a bit on the pricier side. We had one waitress for 12 of us which made things a little slow and unorganized but everything worked out. I've been here multiple times before but just to drink and hang out and I've got to say that this was probably my favorite time. What a great establishment! How this place only has 3 stars is beyond me. When you go to a place like this, as a customer, you should be hoping for: 1) fast drink service 2) food options 3) atmosphere 4) reasonable prices 5) hospitality Sierra Gold is a 5 star for each category, beyond a doubt! Their private room was beautiful and accommodated our group for Cards Against Humanity and Karaoke just fine. Our servers were Alyssa and Tasha and they made sure we never saw the bottom of our glass, since they were in making sure everyone was taken care of, throughout the night. We were fortunate to have a former WWE superstar (Papa Shango/The Godfather) in our midst, who also seemed to really enjoy himself. We were attempting to recreate an epic Office Christmas Party, and it ended nicely. I will say, having a celebrity in the group made zero difference. They treated us amazing way before the The Godfather arrived and long after he left. The kicker is, the staff never knew we had a celebrity with us which proves they don't pander, or change the way the treat people, and that makes it worthy of another visit. Being that we live so close, we frequent Sierra Good because of the service and quality of food. Happy hour specials are awesome! The bartenders are really friendly and inviting, especially Randy who has taken care of us every time we've stopped in. We continually bring guests from back home to show them a cool, comfortable local spot with good prices, awesome food/drinks and we even think of stopping in every time we go out for the night and need a late night bite. The environment is inviting and cozy because of the ambient lighting, the fact that there's plenty of space at the bar, seating is comfortable, plenty of high tops and booth seating, and the pool tables are a great addition.
