Th restaurant has both inside dining and a huge lovely covered outdoor patio. The menu is typical Umbrian--wide-ranging and broad, and also a great wine list. Our meal was one of the best we'd had on our most recent trip: an (almost obligatory) antipasto of local Charcuterie, two primi (Amatriciana and sugo di Cinghiale) and verdure (cicorie.). All accompanied by a very nice Rubesco wine from Umbrian producer Lungarotti. Service was friendly and helpful. We really liked this place and would happily return when traveling through Norcia. Happy to support local businesses in this jewel of a town, still recovering from earthquakes.

Without question, this is the finest dining in the area. Famous for their local pork recipes, Norcia is something of a culinary epicenter in Italy. Chef Emanuele takes his classical training to this amazing area, creating fantastic upscale dishes without losing the heart of the area's famed country style cuisine. I've had bad service many times. This is the worst that I experienced however. And I'm not talking…read moreabout not bringing over menus until asked (yes that happened) but when we were ordering being told that we should be ordering the same thing because otherwise it's a problem for the kitchen. And then when I was ordering in the best Italien I could, the waitress starting laughing at my attempt. Left all six of us feeling uncomfortable. And then when we had to ask twice for Parmesan, a plate with the smallest amount was brought that we had to go back and ask for me. Super unfriendly. Super grumpy attitude. As if they were angry at us for being there. Would never come here again and only recommend to my worst enemies.
