I submitted pictures of the areas, and from the beginning to end his quote was very accurate with the pricing, I was afraid getting a quote based of the picture and then come out with a totally different total amount after the first in person but he didn't, he pretty much was pretty close to the original quote. Once I told him what I needed, he proceeded to give me a time frame for the work to be done and what I could expect. He offered me plenty of options and was willing to work with me on whatever I wanted to do. They showed up exactly when he said he would, his guys were very respectful of the home and and the premises, they came in, worked and left. No messing around! They did a great job fixing (patching up) the walls, painting and cleaning everything up. And once the job was completed he asked me to look around to make sure that I was satisfied and when I did find something that was missed (which was also my bad for not paying attention), I called and he right away took care of it and came over to make sure it was done properly. I will definitely use his service again and I highly recommend him!

Second job was remodel of 3rd bedroom/home office. Complete retexturing, paint, baseboards, barn door installation, closet door replacement, and custom closet shelving. Job took a little longer than originally quoted due to winter weather/humidity causing texture to take longer than normal to dry, but communication was on point every day to let us what would be done and when. He was courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Ian is the owner of the company. From my experience with him in this short while , I've learned he is a family man with astounding integrity. Second, I did not contact this company Cal-View Property Inspections casually or without cause. I reached out because there were serious ongoing concerns in my home, involving exposed walls, abnormal air quality, and conditions that affected my family's health and safety. At the time, children were living in the home, and the wall area had remained exposed for an extended period. The inspection was not the cause of the problem. It was conducted because I needed answers about conditions that already existed inside the unit. The inspection helped confirm that mold concerns were present in the air and on surfaces within the home, including in my daughter's bedroom. After the inspection, I pursued code enforcement. That process resulted in multiple code violations being identified, and repairs were required. My family was displaced as a result of the condition of the home, not because of anything this company created. The statements suggesting improper motive or lack of professionalism do not reflect my experience. I hired this company because I needed an independent assessment, and from my experience they were professional, responsive, and helpful during an extremely stressful situation.
