I paid $1200 down. I was told by Doug McDade, that I don't need insurance, as it was not a motorized vehicle. 2 weeks after I bought it, I received a letter in the mail from mahindra finance. They wanted me to send them proof of insurance on the trailer. I called, told them I was told insurance was not required. They informed me that it was and that without proof of insurance, they can repossess my trailer. So I had to go open an insurance policy on a trailer... Not a big deal, but it's the principle.. Doug lied to me. Told me what I wanted to hear to make a sale. Either that or he has no idea what he's talking about. That's scary, a store manager that has no idea about the business he's running.. So I called the headquarters Abby store. Talked to a lady who said she'd have the owner return my call.. It was never returned..
