The male answering the phone answered like he is taking a call from a family member. No Thank You for holding. No name introduction! You try to give your business to a local small mom and pop, and you get treated like I did. I paid published fare and bought the ticket directly from AF! Carlo, retrain your people!! I was going to wait until after my trip to write a review but decided to do it now. Our trip was sort of last minute and I ended up booking flights with Expedia. Then husband said to contact Sidon to see if we can have a better deal with a resort. Carlo answered and patiently went through flight deals, packages etc. He then placed the flight I wanted on hold so I could be comfortable canceling with Expedia. The next day, I worked with Arlene to book the flights and resort. She was just as nice and as helpful as Carlo. I had mentioned my son's dietary restrictions and she suggested a resort in Cancun that is very accommodating. Sidon travel is an agency that's been around for a long time. Carlo's abilities in the travel world are seemingly unmatched. We went in a few days ago to plan out a very large trip internationally with multiple stops on the way back. He sat there after hours with us going over every single scenario and option to save us the most amount of money. I was initially using Kayak.com to find the cheapest round-trip flight to Buenos Aires from Los Angeles. After several unsuccessful attempts to find a flight that was within my price range, I decided to listen to my dad and call Sidon Travel for some help. (Always listen to your dad kids!) After speaking with an agent for about 5 to 10 minutes, I was not only able to book a flight that was several hundred dollars cheaper than any flight I found on Kayak, but my flight was also the quickest route to my destination. I was also able to pick my seats over the phone too. My travel itinerary documents were e-mailed to me that same day. The entire process was smooth and stress free. Ive used Sidon travel for 3 bachelorette parties so far and every single one has gone perfectly thanks to Arlene and the team at Sidon Travel. This past month, we booked a trip from LA to Miami, for 16 girls, and when we arrived, all our rooms were upgraded thanks to Arlene. They also booked our transportation to and from the airport with a luxurious bus for just our party. Every thing went off without a hitch. Super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable team. Possibly the worst travel agency I got to work with. Went to Cancun for our friends bachelorette and had Arlene help us out. Double checked her pricing with another agency and their price was at least $200 cheaper, I tried price matching but Arlene couldn't accommodate. Instead she gave us hotel vouchers that cannot be used towards one thing, they would have to be split up amongst other services the hotel offers which leaves the vouchers almost useless because you would still have to pay out of pocket. Also, for a bachelorette she recommended one of the worst hotels that does not accommodate to bigger parties. She promised us a "private bus" to the hotel but in reality there are always larger buses transporting bigger parties to the hotel. In addition she booked our last traveler a little later than the rest of the girls, and we've spent over an hour at our trip trying to get the last girl on the same bus as us to and from the hotel. Safe to say would never use this travel agency again. Trust me you're better off booking through apple vacations! read more

This is my second time utilizing Sidon travel's services to acquire travel tickets . The first time was June of this year I contacted Sidon and imminently was greeted by a gentleman name Raffi. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave me three of the best option in relevance to best time to travel and pricing . I do admit I did contact two other travel agencies after and since most of the margin from ticket sales is with held by the airline companies the pricing was not noticeably different , However the service was exceptional , swift and with no hassle . Never buy tickets from these people. It's not the company it used to be many years ago. The current employees don't know what customer service is and could care less if you have any issues after booking a flight through them. You get better customer service booking with online sites then with them. We had many issues and they did not make the effort to resolve them, we had to take care of it ourselves directly with the airlines. What's the point of having a travel agent if they will not assist you when you have issues with the booking. After you pay them, the service stops there. read more

Currently stuck in Dubai thanks to Rafi for not doing the proper visa, I'm so upset I can't even begin to describe how rude and unprofessional he was. I called and told him it's urgent please help and he told me well I'm on another call, mind you I'm in front of the ticket agent in Dubai trying to get back into Russia where I got the visa from Rafi. This is a very serious matter I will be contacting my attorney when I return. I told Rafi I will be traveling to different countries from Russia and he said no problem you will be fine. Now I just bough a ticket back to the states with all my belongings in my hotel in Russia and when I called him he said sorry good luck.
