First, let me say the facility is very clean & nice! The 2 massage therapist were kind. However, we both experienced approx. 50 mins of nothing more than our back being rubbed -and sadly even that wasn't enjoyable. Either you got light/medium, which you couldn't feel any relief. Hard was literally TORTURE. I had to tell her she was hurting me - she was taking her knuckles and digging them in my low back bones. No ma'am. Let me add, I LOVE deep tissue massages. It's my preference yet this wasn't that. To add, when she had me flipped she was rubbing my scalp for a few seconds and then she pulled MY HAIR!!! I think she accidentally pulled way too hard. Then, my favorite part I was looking forward to was my feet - she quickly ran her finger up and down a few seconds. No lotion. Nothing. We were done. I was SOOO DISAPPOINTED!! I can find the positive in any situation almost, not this one. **My husband experienced this same massage of 50 mins back, 8 mins legs, etc. thankfully he's bald lol. No hair pulling.

My masseuse was phenomenal and knowledgeable. Her light hearted jokes and attentiveness were great. The facilities are very clean and easy to maneuver. Since spa guests can come and go as we please we started the day with massages, went to brunch, then returned later in the day for the pool and other amenities. Everything from the specialty, custom soaps, to the shower facilities, and the steam room were on point. I could sense from discussion with other guests that some would've preferred a coed hot tub, but the pool makes up for that.

Called the spa from the hotel phone numerous times to understand what's going on but no answer. We start to walk the 15 mins to the spa as we both continue to call. I alone called 18 times. No answer. We get to the spa where the young lady tells us that the spa itself changed our time from 1pm to 12:15pm. what?!?? and she's been much "too busy" to answer the phone. keep in mind that she wasn't too busy to call and let customers know they are late for an appt that the spa changed to 45 mins earlier than the time that was confirmed with no regard to the people actually paying for the service. The manager tried to help though the entire situation was ridiculous. she would be able to "get us in" over 2 hrs after the appointment time of 1pm that the spa had confirmed, which overlapped with other plans we had at that time-- thus the reason people ask for specific times when making appointments. if you make reservations at this spa, do yourself a favor and call to confirm that they didn't change your confirmed time--- if you can get anyone to answer their phone. As I sit there a young lady finally comes out doesn't say anything to me so I ask " hi ma'am it's my first time here. What am I supposed to do" she tells me that the lady doing my massage was in a massage and will be out shortly to fill out some paperwork. I continue to wait for another 25 minutes. At this point a gentleman comes to the front. I asked him when they will be ready for my massage considering it's past my appointment time. He proceeds to get on the phone and go to the back then come back out to tell me that whoever was supposed to be doing my massage is out and she thought she communicated that with me. That NEVER happened or I would have never wasted my time showing up. Needless to say this was extremely unprofessional environment and a birthday gift that was gifted to me that will never get used.
