I've been here twice in the last week to take care of general banking business. Both times, I had a…read moresurprisingly wonderful banking experience. I rarely go inside banks these days because I usually end up with a massive headache and the ATM does most of what I need. I went in this Saturday because I needed a cashier's check. They had probably 10 tellers open so I didn't have to wait very long to speak to someone. There was an older grandpa inside who seemed very confused about something that he received in the mail from Bank of America (probably some promotion or something that I usually throw away) and the branch manager took it upon himself to nicely and respectfully explain what everything was. I appreciated seeing people treat others with that kind of respect.

They are in cahoots and if you think a safety deposit box is safe, think again. I cannot believe what they pulled on me. A guy named Austin Hughes is the one who "helped" me. After waiting a month for an appt, and he cancelled once already, he then claims they didn't have my box at their branch(when before he said they did and I know they did), he had me fill out forms asking the value of what was in the box , then asked me for the key, then he switched the keys and sent me to the branch in Montecito where they handed me an empty box! They wouldn't allow me to see the signature card either. Austin claims he "lost the file" as well so I wouldn't be able to verify anything. It was a total con artist move. Several of the employees are in on it as well because they had to pretend the box was moved to the other branch after he got my key. There is nothing you can do about it either because they are limited in their liability. Such a huge sham!
