I dropped off my Maid of Honor dress for my cousin's wedding about a week ago and picked it up today and in total, I paid double what the dress originally cost me I don't have time to get it fixed by someone else before the wedding because it's in eight days and it nearly looks the same as when I dropped it off She kept insisting that I should loosen the bodice, but I'm a heavy chested girl who is not wearing a bra to the wedding so that could result in catastrophe. She wasn't happy that the bodice was a bit tight and on the other end she didn't really loosen the skirt as I asked her to and didn't take in Too much above the bum so the dress still looks a little boxy on me. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement, and I am bothered that I paid $200+ for an Alteration that was subpar is even worse. She legit charged me $15 for an eyelet hook that is $3 for a pack of 10 at Michael's. The alterations were $130 and I paid her half on the same day I took them. I called on August 1st and she told me they were not ready bc her machine broke but she would have them ready the next day and she would give me a call. She never called. I called this morning she did not answer so I left a message still no reply so I called this evening just for her to tell me my stuff still was not ready. She stated the only thing she had ready was one outfit but keep in my mind we discussed the price for each piece of clothing and the outfit did not equal $65 when we discussed the prices. So asked her could she just give me a discount for the inconvenience and she said no. The only thing she would do is give me the outfit that she fixed and give me back the others ones she did not fix but the outfit she fixed was not $65. She is money hungry and very unprofessional i will never patronize with her again. I know she overcharged me to begin with but she was the only one I could find at the time.
