The medical box set up and monitoring system helped us manage his on-going and complex prescription needs. Additionally, she helped ensure he was getting proper nutrition and had a support system to check in on him to make sure he remained active and engaged in the community. I believe his quality of life was tremendously enhanced by the support and care they extended. My mother with dementia ended up going to an emergency room, and then immediately to a memory care facility. Regardless of the fact that we did not see this coming, extended family home care continued to bill for 2 weeks worth of services which was about 1,200+ only because they were not notified of cancelling services. We had two other home care agencies providing services and neither one of them had this unethical billing policy. On top of that, some of the caregivers did not seem to provide quality care. And also had inconsistent caregiving services, with some cancelling last minute or did not even had the right skill level to care for my mother.

Somebody from management is always available to address any concerns that I might have about my parents. I believe my parents are receiving the best care available. My dad requires a lot more care than my mother does and moving them. Here took a lot of stress and pressure off of my mother, and she is thriving as she no longer has to worry about caring for my father as much. My dad is thriving too, and has been working with the therapy people that are in this place. The food is wonderful and I try to eat here every weekend with my folks.
