This little gem is just off Riding Rd, tucked in the cottage behind the Secondi vintage clothing shop. There's a sign posted at the corner! I just happened to be walking in the area (gotta get some fitness in), and this sign was the only thing that indicated there was something interesting worthwhile to check out....
So glad I did! The "garage" holds refurbished furniture, shabby chic style. Stepping in through the shop, the store is tastefully shabby chic and is a crafters heaven! There are re-purposed vintage finds such as posters in cello, brooches, and almost Etsy-like treasures.
I was most excited to see they stock Copic markers (at a reasonable price, to boot!), and are slowly growing their papercraft goodies, such as washi tape, rubber stamps, and other necessities of the sort! A great find for this gal (my latest hobby is letter/mail-art!) However, the expertise is in knit and crochet goods, so plenty of yarn and fabric goods that far exceeds the quality of Spotlight and Lincraft's stock.
Guess what? They also offer classes. Want to pick up a new hobby or expand on one? This is the place to go. Find their monthly schedule on their Facebook page. read more
