I had practice when it was 50ish degrees out and the pool was almost warm! They have a little small slide for children. It's a very affordable place and has good deals if you were to go more often. Another bonus is they have a set time for people who want to do laps without children in the way. The facility is kept clean and is an overall enjoyable place to swim. Although I prefer indoor pools, this one is a great alternative when the option is not available! I would recommend this place to anyone of all ages!

The park was much smaller than we expected and it may be easy to miss if you do t know it's there. There is a small dirt/gravel parking with a seating pavilion. On the other side of the path, there is a large field area with picnic tables scattered around and lots of shade. There is a very short trail to a bridge overlooking the falls. The falls were smaller than expected but still a nice view. It was hard to tell if there were paths and trails where you could make your way down to the creek but access directly to the falls was not an option. Lots of signs and fences marking it off because the drop is significant. If your exploring and driving past, it makes a nice roadside stop but not one I would say is worth a special trip.

They didn't let the kids on the chair lifts, even though they were running and all worked ready, until 9:30am (yes I know it opens at 9:30, but other locations always open early for racers). Very disappointing as the kids needed runs to get practice before inspections which were right away at 9:30... They had super long lines as all the kids from all the teams are lined up and so poorly managed by Mount Kato as now some kids won't get the proper inspections and time needed. Race started late as well. All other hills/locations for ski racing open early for the racers only to get runs in.

He hit our large slide out with the bar of his riding mower and caused damage trying to get it out. Staff refused to speak to us about it and after weeks of trying to speak the, he owner he finally called. He lied about having employees, refused to give us his insurance information, and would not accept any accountability. The campground is not worth dealing with him or the staff!! Don't bother!!
