Totally professional, creative, accommodating, and fun. I really couldn't have asked for more. I deal with a lot of photographers and photo booth companies as part of my job, and it gets pretty easy to tell the difference between "a dude with a camera" and a professional photo booth company. Oh sure, you'll pay less for so-and-so's brother in law with the PVC rinky dink booth, but you'll also get less. In the spirit of full disclosure, you should know that it was part of my job to work with ShutterBooth so I wasn't writing a check. But I do fully believe that the quality is worth what you pay for it and ShutterBooth are the cream of the crop. Here's my story. I was looking for a photobooth partner for a big, splashy event going on and found ShutterBooth here on Yelp. With star marks from Manda B I figured they were the real deal, because she doesn't take crap from anyone. So I shot off an email. It wasn't long before Kelly gave me a call, and we talked about the event and what I would need. She immediately followed up with a short but detailed list of questions to make sure we could create the perfect event and we were both happy. I should also mention that while it wasn't totally last minute, I certainly could have given more time. As I came to find out, they have more than one booth on hand and even though they had other events going on that night they were able to fit me in. The first night of our two-part adventure Kelly herself ran the booth. She was a total pro--punctual, and patient with the last minute chaos that events bring. She set up quickly and ran things smoothly all night long. The second night Kaira was hosting, and was every bit the pro as the owner. Our event was late at night and it would have been easy to get tired and ooze apathy but they were both super fun, engaging, and all smiles. The booth itself is slick. Like a giant Construx set (shoutout to '80s toys!) that snaps together well. Black and brushed metal. No PVC here, so there's no worries of being embarrassed by a ghetto booth. And the quality carries into the photos. High quality paper, quick printing, sharp resolution, and ridiculously fun. Oh, and even more fun the drunker the guests got. If you're a bride looking for a photo booth (is it photo booth or photobooth?) you can also get a wedding album, so they print one strip for guests and one for your book. I'm told they do a decent amount of weddings, but also quite a few corporate events and parties. Do you want to see your boss posing with a feather boa and his secretary for a scandalous photo. I think we both know the answer to that question is yes. After the event the photos are available online and you can download them, or order reprints of any pic or full strip. And the gallery can be private, in case your boss's wife gets snoopy. They'll travel all over the place for you. I imagine the price changes depending on travel time and distance, but they do events all along the Wasatch Front and Back. They told me about a wedding they did in Boulder. Just ask them and if they can't cover it I'm sure they could help you figure out who will. I couldn't be happier about the whole experience. The booth was a hit. The guests were pleased. I've now hired the shutterbooth for 3 different occasions! I can't say enough positive things about them! Their staff is professional, reliable and really sweet to work with. The booth itself is a nice size so you can get a good group going in it, you can pick your preference of black & white, color or sepia for each strip you take, you can have the company use a custom "logo" to go at the bottom of the strip (for our store party- we used the logo of the store and for my other parties, used my own "party" logo which was SO nice as it tied in the mood of the party that much more) and its really easy to use! I love that it gives you the preview on the screen so you know if you are standing in the right place or not (and how your hair looks;). I give shutterbooth 5 stars mostly because the photos come out looking SO good! Like honestly, I look better in their photos than in the photos I hired the professional photographer for! We had shutterBooth at our anniversary party celebration at La Caille and they were fantastic. Everyone had a great time getting their pictures taken and the props they brought with them allowed everyone to take "kooky" as well as "normal" pictures. The booth hostesses helped me get everyone in to the booth more than once and were fun and great to work with. Because we got unlimited photos, each of our guests got to take pictures home and we got to keep pictures of everyone who came. We also were able to customize the "frame" so that we were able to thank everyone for being a part of our celebration. I hired Shutterbooth Utah for my wedding in May and was less than impressed. The process to book with them was fairly easy. However, the day of the wedding and communications since then has left much to be desired. The original purchased package included a memory book that was never provided. When I inquired after the fact I was told they would get back to me and I have never heard back from them. The day of the wedding it was rainy, I will give them that.... but the booth itself was fairly disappointing. Instead of having a simple rain canopy of their own, they took a large patio umbrella from our venue. Not only did that limit rain coverage for our guests, but it was less than adequate for the booth. All of the props were thrown into a plastic box and you had to dig through them to find one since they weren't laid out on any sort of table. The person working the booth made minimal contact with guests, not even trying to put on a show when I arrived with my groom for a few quick pictures. I don't think I'm that hard to please, but out of my entire wedding this was the one let down. read more

I won thank you notes from ShutterBooth at a bridal fair, and we absolutely loved them. We went to their studio and took pictures in the photobooth holding up signs in each picture that spelled out "thank you very much". The staff were awesome and worked with us to make something that matched our wedding. We had some of them printed as simple photo strips and some as magnets. The strips were great because we could write on the back, and our family loved the magnets. I have already had people calling to tell my mom that our thank yous were the cutest they had ever seen.
