I found Made In The Shade through Costco. In the end, I did NOT go with Made In The Shade, but rather Rockwell Shutters (through Home Depot). They have higher quality products, and more affordable prices. I do want to say that Alex and Cyndi were very nice people though. They simply could not beat the products/pricing of Rockwell Shutters. I highly suggest you do your own research and ask lots of questions if you are looking to purchase custom window coverings.

We met with Dallas and he he was very attentive and took the time to listen to our needs and than focus to show us what we were looking for etc. Didn't try to up sell us which is pleasant thus allowing customers to decide for themselves, yet taking his recommendations into consideration. Ironically, Cyndi was "off" that Saturday but she just happen to swing, so happy to have met her. She "chatted" a little bit and allowed Dallas to take care of us which we were ok with. On Monday we received the multiple quotes from Dallas since we asked for a couple of options. At this point, we've not made the purchase yet.. house is new construction so still a few months out. Purchased thousands of dollars of blinds from this company for our newly remodeled home about 2…read moreyears ago. The service was initially fine (as long as the sale happened), but since, the service and quality of product has proven to be subpar. We've had 5-10 blinds replaced in our home due to them breaking or faulty installation. We've paid $100 for them visiting our home each time they come out for a service visit due to their faulty products. (They refunded us the last service visit since I complained publicly on Google.) The biggest issue I have is that we were sold a terrible product that keeps breaking. I'm also recently frustrated by the replacement products - this most recent replacement was the wrong size! How does this happen? The installer said that he couldn't get the old blinds back up in the meantime while the correct size was being ordered - so to block the sun out of my newborn's room, he had plastic and cardboard to put on the window. Not exactly the nursery aesthetic we're going for. Luckily, my husband was able to get the old non functional blinds back up in the room as we wait for them to resolve their issues with the manufacturer of the janky products they sell. It's a true comedy of errors with this team. So 74 days later after reporting this issue for the blinds in our infant's nursery, we're still waiting for any type of update on if we will get the right size of blinds replacements. This is just the story of one most recent replacement. I have at least 4 more stories. Seems absurd for only two years of use, and consumers should be warned. Not sure where the other reviewers are from. I assume they are bought. Buyer beware.
