But I took a chance and booked an appointment with Sheena. I came half hour before my appointment and she took me in quick. She is very chill and laid back stylist. I had two balayage processes done before, so I was just curious why her methods were different. The bleaching process took 2.5 hours long and cutting and styling was roughly 30 minutes. I've been getting my hair cut at the Robinson Street Cost Cutters for about 5 years. Now, I'm…read morerelatively well-known for writing positive reviews about local businesses, but for a place I've frequented for so long, I've always hesitated writing one here because I'm fearful that I won't be able to articulate just how meaningful my experiences here have been. Well...let's try anyway, I'll have Megan proofread it. If anyone knows one thing about me, it's that I give a damn about my hair. It's my greatest asset, aside from my wonderful personality. I've had probably over a dozen hair-stylists and barbers over my lifetime, and none could...really make the cut. I would always take a long look in the mirror when they asked the inevitable "well? How do ya look?!" and hope momma don't hear me lie. But the first time Casey cut my hair, I was quite literally stunned at how awesome I looked. I knew right then and there that she would be my hair stylist as long as she'd have me, and I've never had even a lukewarm experience...or a forgetful one. More on that next paragraph though. For the remainder of this one, I want people to know just how classically and reliably excellent my cuts have been for the last 5 years. If you are a dude constantly in between barbers/stylists, this is your homing beacon, your Batman signal, your fitting-end to a perhaps lifelong search for The One With Shears. I have come to understand that Casey is very sought after for her hair coloring expertise as well for you fancy hairdudes and dudettes out there. From Dapper to Dazzling, Casey has you Covered.™ I'd be remiss if I didn't briefly discuss how much fun I have when I'm in there. Casey, Jamie, Megan, and the rest of the crew always at least pretend to have as much fun as I'm having in there. In fact, so much fun that my wife now gets her hair cut here with Casey! She's sitting in there with Casey right now while I write this in the Husband Chair with the pasta strainers, the first two appointments on their Crazy Wednesdays (did you know you can get a haircut on Wednesdays for as low as $18? Please visit CostCutters.com for more information. No promo code needed). While being completely professional for the purposes of helping other customers, we've been able to carve out a uniquely pleasant time getting these hairs (and not just one hair, mind you) cut and styled. I'm into the Mohawk cut these days, but for awhile Casey and I went after that Peaky Blinders vibe with da fade, both executed effortlessly and flawlessly cuz - you guessed it - Casey has you Covered.™ Every time I walk out of there - Freshly Dapper - I feel like I need to tell someone about the awesome time we all just had. Now, I'm telling the whole world. On a truly serious note, it's hard to find excellent customer service anymore, let alone professionals who also have personalities that really make your day so much better. I hate to sound ancient, but really - not a lot of people want to actually work anymore, and literally everyone in this place makes a positive impact on our day every time we visit. So - a huge thank you to Casey And The Gang, and to the owners, who clearly create a satisfying work environment for these fine professionals and customers to enjoy a Swaggering® together.

Tip:Find someone with good hair. Ask them where they get it done. A kind neighbor gave me the information for David Scott. When he colored my hair we discovered ( unfortunately ) that I was allergic to the main color that they use. He now gets a second line for customers like me. This is such a wonderful salon.
