From the first visit, I felt like she & her nurses were there for me. I love that Dr. Caldwell takes the time to listen to you when you are telling her about your issues. She has always taken the time to go over my health issues when I ask questions. She honored that I didn't want to just slap antibiotics on my issues and actually recommended some herbs that helped clear up my sinus issues. She listened when I said I think I'm hypothyroid and did the test for me - sure enough, even to her surprise, I was. She has offered me to have drug compounded to avoid animal bi-products in my meds. And her NP is freaking awesome too. I drive over an hour to see these ladies! I hate the drive, but sometimes, when you find a place you like, you do what you have to do. Though I have to say, Becky - the phone lady isn't the most pleasant. Just get past that and it's golden.

I had been to six other doctors who could not help me or give me a legitimate diagnosis. I was exhausted, but on a friend's recommendation, made an appointment. The questionnaire was daunting, but well worth my time, as Dr. Caldwell wants to get an overview of the whole body instead of just one system. She treated me and I am doing 100% better. I highly recommend her, and her staff, Vickie and Becky. This team is a rare find.

From the ER to being in my private room, a beautiful large room with an incredible picture window. I wanted to adopt all of my nurses and staff Be kind when you are in the hospital pay attention to what they are doing. They are run, ragged shorthanded, and never seem to stop running to take care of us. They do it with a smile on their face they find time for you even though they don't have any time. By the way, the food was incredible. I had the option to order different if I wanted to, but the everyday regular meal was so good. I never bothered to try the side menu. Be aware if there's any chance of you falling because of a medical issue, they are gonna watch you extra. Lol I thought they were kidding about not getting out of bed until I put my foot on the floor. My bathroom was about 3 feet away and yes, I had to fix a sock and I was going to try to get to the bathroom on my own. Next thing you know, I had red lights flashing, and a fire alarm sound a very loud one. They aren't kidding. They have to arm and disarm your bed before you can get out of it. It's for our safety of taken several bad falls before they weren't gonna let me do it on their watch. I felt like I was in a hotel. It was so nice even the wall color was pretty. I'm not happy with some of the management and some things that were done and the way they were handled. Remember to be your own ADVOCATE. That being said, though, remember your nurses and other stuff, including the people that deliver your food, I had some of the cheeriest and kindest people from that area as well. I had one young lady while I was still in the ER room come in one morning. She had a voice like a beautiful bird so nice to wake up to. Thank you is not enough to say to these great people. If you are near The Woodlands in Texas and especially if you need a Heart hospital, this is the place to go

Only gave me 2 weeks notice before my blood pressure medicine ran out. They had just refilled another med for me 2 weeks prior and never said anything. I informed them that I was having extreme financial problems due to COVID and could not afford bloodwork, an appointment, and my meds at the same time right now and asked them to please be a little flexible with me. Also, I had bloodwork that was only a few months old done by a specialist that I offered to have sent to their office, but once they flagged my file they were too proud to back down. Furthermore they always said that you needed to wait 3 weeks after bloodwork to schedule a follow up appointment which they said was needed before refilling my prescription. At this point, there wasn't enough time. I spent multiple days on the phone with a nurse from their office begging for them to be reasonable and not put my life at risk because I am broke during a global pandemic. I was always polite during these calls. Yes, out of frustration and stress I spent a good amount of the time on the phone WEEPING. No one ever indicated to me that they felt like I was being rude. It took almost a week before they were willing to give me a short term refill and tell me that I needed to find some way to pay for the bloodwork and an appointment before they would refill the medicine again. I accepted that. What did they do weeks later after I had finally gotten money together to have the bloodwork done? Send my a certified letter informing me that I was being kicked out of their practice and was no longer their patient. No physician or physician's assistant ever spoke with me. The people making this decision never spoke with me to see if however the nurse said I behaved was accurate or was just a misunderstanding or misinterpretation. The letter just said it was due to both sides "having not met mutual expectations". I don't even know what they think I did. If they would have spoken to me, even on the phone or during this next appointment that I was about to schedule, I think they would have found me to be reasonable and kind like I have always been. Instead they seem to have gone off of the word of this nurse. Was it just the fact that I was weeping on the phone begging for understanding? Was it the number of times I called back? Do you realize that I had to call that many times to get you all to do anything? Did you know that when I asked the nurse if she had mentioned various concerns of mine to you, that she said that she had not relayed parts of the situation to you? You would think that they would have had more mercy on someone who is under extreme stress because of everything going on. To kick out a patient over something like this? Without even talking to the patient first? Really?? The saddest part is that I really liked Bethany and Codi. If they would let me, I would probably keep seeing them. If I have ever come off as rude to anyone at your office, I am genuinely, genuinely sorry.

Dr. Powellson was in NO way friendly, welcoming, comforting, or helpful. He was, instead;rude, argumentative, interrupting, judgemental, cold, and dismissive. He was entirely focused on my mental health diagnosis-which was NOT why I was there-and treated my physical health, as well as some important concerns I tried to communicate, as an afterthought. The room was cold, sterile, uncomfortable, and so is Dr. Powellson. I was immediately put off and defensive with his demeanor, and his lack of focus on my physical health rather than my mental- he seemed to form an opinion when I told him my diagnosis- was confusing and frustrating. I jave a lump in my abdomen and another in my pelvis that he NEVER EXAMINED, or asked about them after I mentioned it. I felt judged, as though Dr Powellson has a bias about people with BPD. The building and the lobby made me want to turn around as soon as I got there, and Dr. Powellson made me so uncomfortable; feeling judged and argued with, and frustrated, that I walked out of the appointment within 5 minutes of meeting and talking to him. At NO time did I feel like Dr Powellson cared about my physical concerns, or even HEARD them. This was just supposed to be a general physical and check-up, and Dr. Powellson made it the most uncomfortable, unpleasant, and awful appointments I have ever had.

And I call in the morning like please make it make sense. My medicine is literally not life altering and won't kill me if I don't have it, but it's the simple fact that I'm supposed to be taking it regularly and it fluctuates in my body and I would like to not get off my schedule for it. it's so easy to not be lazy. I genuinely thought a bunch of older people. were writing bad reviews and complaining for no reason, but I'm 21 and the way they act is so old.. especially the ladies on the phone when I have to call because I have to call every single time at least once a day for about four days in a row and they get annoyed but imagine how I feel. They always have a bad attitude. and act like it's my fault.. god forbid when you pay for a service the service gets done and people do their jobs. also, the doctor Jason toole I'm pretty sure is his name is super chill and easy. but other then that the rest is so disappointing
