So I decided to find a place to recycle them. I live in a suburb of New Orleans. The city of New Orleans does recycling of electronics, but only to residents of the city. The parish I live in is questionable with recycling, let alone that of electronics. Scrolling thru Google, I saw this place about halfway down, so I emailed them not expecting any response until business hours the next day. Two hours before they were scheduled to open, the owner emailed me. We carried on an email conversation where she confirmed that they can recycle for $5, removal of the hard drive by them would be an additional $5, then $3 for destruction of the hard drive. $30 minimum cost. So the grand total for my two would be $26, but they also offered to take my cheap dollar store calculators for recycling since there was a $30 minimum. I came after I got off work. I was greeted at the door, welcomed in and taken care of quickly. I was in and out in five minutes. Amazing customer service. Woman owned and operated. I can not recommend this high enough. I will be back when I have more electronics to dispose of. There is even a certificate they give you as proof they have destroyed the hard drive. As curious as I am of the process of recycling electronics, that is a question for another day. Maybe I should email them and ask.

I had to drive to their warehouse but then paid a total of $60 while I-Shred quoted "about $400 and we will get to you next Thursday" I certainly was willing to spend a little time to save well over $300

First to review?! Hard to believe when this place is synonymous with great customer service. They…read moreknow all their customers on a first name basis and always goes above and beyond every time you go in there. This place is hardcore about their wine. They have weekly wine tastings and the largest indoor wine storage facility in Louisiana. And they have a sommelier on site! Last time I was there, I got a chance to sample some hundred dollar wine. Yep, they just cracked that puppy open and split it with everyone in there. How awesome is that? Plus they're very community-oriented. They have a featured business and an interesting events every month. They just recently advertised for an indoor garage sale where they had over 50 sellers and door prizes! Don't know of any other garage sales where they give out door prizes- and ask for donations for a local blood bank and school. And they're doing stuff like this all the time. Every time I go to a fundraiser in Jefferson Parish, Elmwood Self Storage is involved in some shape or fashion. I've even used their board room for a meeting I conducted. They let me use that space- free of charge- and even helped me advertised for it. These people seriously get around! So check out their facilities and you won't be disappointed. I haven't been!

First off I was told to return a u haul car transport to this location by U haul in Georgia..So…read moreafter driving all night I arrived the next day at this location to drop off the u haul I was immediately greeted by rude disrespectful employees who told me they would not be helping me insecure the straps holding my car to the carrier... First off it was uhaul policy to not allow me to secure the car myself so I had absolutely no idea to get it off.. I'm a disabled veteran & I didn't deserve to be treated that way.. This location and u haul itself should be shamed of themselves..
