We found DeadStock by purely random Google search. We needed someone to cut our hair before our trip to Las Vegas. There are two of us. One has a "military style" hair cut for Law Enforcement. The other a more modern "fade" with braids. It is very hard to find a barber skilled in various types and styles of haircuts- with different textures of hair. Deadstock didn't disappoint. We have a new barber now- DEADSTOCK! It's just down the freeway and very close to our ranch. Family oriented, clean, friendly- well done. First time out- he hits a home run on both our cuts! After you are done, he's located in a complex it has a lot of other alternatives. Deadstock is located in a large Rockwall complex that offers everything from food to movies! They even have a cigar bar and restaurants that we were unaware existed. So he is SUPER convenient- unlike our last barbers - this is a major bonus. There is plenty of free parking. I walked into this establishment amazed at the feel and decor. The gentlemen were very nice and even though they were booked up made it work for me. My wait was no longer than 15 minutes and I was seated in the chair. If you're looking for a barbershop with class and true artists to back up the decor, then you've come to the right place. My barber was well versed in hair enough to tell me how to style my hair according to my natural lines. To some, that may seem silly, but to a Soldier like me, it was refreshing. I am honestly shocked that she isn't booked all the time. we arrived on time, the location was easy to find, the space was welcoming and had a really comfortable and welcoming vibe! Harlee herself was very easy to talk to and get to know, but all of that is just the opening to one of the best cuts I've ever had! After a warm welcome, we started on a plan, I gave her my goals and ideas and she asked clarifying questions to make sure that she got the details locked in. The cut was done quickly and it perfect! DO NOT GO HERE! shes unclean and unprofessiona!!! and can't do extensions!!! came in to get my…read moreextension reinstalled and as soon as I got in the car i noticed one of the extensions was already lose and poking out, gave the benefit of the doubt bc I could fix it when I got home until the very next day when a whole row came out and then they all started to lose beads and fall out, I message her and send her pictures for a refund bc I had to go get them completely redone. Mind u I also only requested a partial refund at first when it was only that one row until it was all of them! and nothing she completely ghosted me. the person who redid my extensions said she had no idea what she was doing they were not installed correctly and the beads were so cheap they were breaking as she was taking them out. and her appointment etiquette was terrible. She told me her day was completely free and then had two people booked during my appointment. one lady had to wait on her for over 30mins and she has the audacity to complain that she was upset about having to wait. oh and to add to all of it her cleanliness was awful she took my cape off to use on a different client , after she cut his hair (with no dispo paper in between the cape and neck) she tried to put it back on me which I politely refused. I had his hair all over me when I left because she didn't wipe down the chair after he left. she was dropping stuff on the ground that she had not swept from his hair cut then using it on me. and not to mention how ruff she was on my extensions I noticed when she was drying them how much they shed and broke off and were super dry (mind you I've used this brand of extension for a while and they don't shed a whole lot and are very soft and full) I didn't say anything trying not to be rude, but obviously I should have bc now I'm out of money and time and will soon have to get new extension which is also more money out of my pocket because of this experience. needless to say, she should be lucky I'm not a terrible person and only leaving a review bc I could report this to TDLR!

I let my hair get long and thick before I get motivated for a cut so my hair is not easy to cut. In fact my hair is so thick that I create new hair styles when I sleep at night and fashion photographers should be ready every morning in my bedroom to capture the new look when I wake up! Easy to find location off of I-30, free parking and $17 for a men's cut. Five Stars!
