Absolutely terrible customer service. Avoid! Especially avoid if you're working to a deadline…read more I just wanted a simple set of one-sided black & white cards printed. The guy on the phone assured me it would be done in "two days!" and was really easy. He then put down the phone without telling me the email address, so I had to call him back and get it (their website doesn't work so no way to know it). Got an even more off-feeling as he kept repeating incorrect dimensions that I'd corrected him on, and how on google street view the shop looks totally dilapidated etc. But whatever, support local small businesses right? Well...after emailing precise instructions over, and not hearing anything back a couple of days later I called asking for the project status, and he asked me if I'd emailed him. I said yes, and he said well his designer "wasn't in the office yet". Uh...ok. Didn't hear anything back again, and waited and waited. Eventually called back a couple of days later and he said the designer's kid was "sick" and then rudely said that he would pull the project and put down the phone. Sorry to hear that (if true) but a simple notification rather than ghosting and making endless excuses would suffice. I won't be giving this place any further business.

Wow - what can't we say about Empty Bucket Studios?!! These guys are awesome - we worked with Matt…read moreand Joe and from the onstart of the process they were extremely accommodating. First off let me tell you that we live in Washington DC. Our wedding (which is part of what they filmed) took place in western Maryland at the Wisp Resort. They live in the Philadelphia area and their studio is in Lambertville, NJ. I feel like these guys definitely went above in beyond. The package we got included a pre wedding Love Story that they came down to DC to film. They offered to film both at our house and downtown around the monuments - it was really cool - they asked us about how we met - what we like about each other and other pertinent details that told our story. While they were down here they offered to take engagement photos for us which we weren't expecting - very cool of them! When they finished our love story they offered to burn it on CD and have it available to play at our wedding reception before we entered - it was such a hit. About the wedding - it was a bit different - it was more of a weekend event - the guys came up the day before the wedding and they were there for the rehearsal, the bonfire the night before and of course the ceremony and the ENTIRE reception! During this time they were shooting all along. They weaved all of this and our engagement video (that was online) into our wedding video. All of this was compiled onto blu-rays and packaged into a case that was designed using a wedding day picture of us that they took! It was truly amazing. Additionally they also gave us all of the raw footage on a harddrive at our request. I'm truly impressed with their level of dedication, professionalism and kindness. It was such a pleasure to work with these guys. They do amazing and creative work - highly recommend them to anyone. You can check out our video on VIMEO: http://vimeo.com/54207675.

I had a relatively small, quick project for Alpha, and the experience was easily five stars…read more Patrick had a whole phone conversation with me to get a sense of my needs, which in itself I wouldn't expect from a print shop for a $30 job. I needed an 18"x24" poster print mounted on foam board, and in my project request I mentioned we would be displaying the poster on a tabletop easel. Patrick clearly read the whole request and gave it thoughtful consideration, because he advised that for an extra few dollars, Alpha could add foldable easel wings to the back of our poster - heck yes! I'd gotten a quote from another larger print shop - let's call them Kedex-Finko's - and the price for this job was easily going to top $50. Alphagraphics was a better price, and definitely a better and more personal customer experience. The final product was sharp, sturdy, and beautiful - a really clean print. From initial request to project completion, Alpha had the whole thing done in about 24 hours. Highly recommend them for any print job, personal or professional.
