When in CO, l always manage to fit Shotgun Willie's into the evening. The door guys and floor managers are always affably nice. The venue encourages movement with various main stages, bars and a dais, which keeps the atmosphere interesting and constantly entertaining. The door admission and drink prices are reasonable. The ladies room is spacious and clean. The door lady always has an abundance of refresher toiletries. Beautiful dancers saunter between several small stages and put on their sexy act. I like to sit front row and shell my dollar bills out to the stage or under a bottom strap. It's gotten me "motor boated" before which was a bit more than I had expected. My friends were surely amused. Lol A couple guys always come up to some of us girls asking for a lap dance. It's flattering and amusing. This usually ends up turning into an amusing chat session. Probably the most popular strip club in Denver, known for its talented pole dancers! Even though it's not a stimulating form of entertainment for me personally, I enjoy supporting SWers and taking friends that don't want to come here by themselves. Super easy to find while driving along Colorado Blvd and plenty of parking in the lot. I came here on a holiday evening when it was a little slower (and not so late at night) and all the staff we encountered were courteous. Shotgun Willie's is a strip club in Glendale (more or less in Denver). Interesting thing about Glendale: it's an independent city. It's inside Denver and it's surrounded on all sides by Denver, but it's not part of Denver. This apparently gives the club more freedom around smoking and alcohol. The owner of the club is also the mayor of Glendale. The club doesn't seem scammy. There are other clubs where dancers will randomly walk up to you and rub up against you, then claim you owe them money. Many of the clubs in the downtown area have reviews saying customers were assaulted by staff, or drugged by dancers. That stuff doesn't happen here, from what I've seen. Cash is better. If you use a CC, they add a 26% fee. And there's the tip line. The ATM charged about $10. read more

The vibe is super laid-back. You won't get bum-rushed by tacky dancers trying to squeeze your wallet for every dollar it's worth. The bouncers won't give you any tude, either. Grab a seat, get squared away and have an ice cold beer with your friends to take the edge off before you partake in the feminine aesthetics. You have to love a prompt and polite team. The doormen, servers and bartenders here are exactly that. Most gentleman clubs are the antithesis of graciousness, but the personnel at Shotgun Willie's will make you feel appreciated. Denver's classiest strip club! I've been coming to Shotgun Willie's for years now, and with good reason. No girl is less than a ten, even at 5 pm on a Tuesday. The range is also impressive, from girls with tattoos and a split tongue (lookin at you Pandora! ...or actually I think she might be going by something else these days, but she's still there I promise.) to hot blonds, redheads, Asians, ebony, take your pick, they've got it here in a club that goes beyond a standard strip club, (and unfortunately set my standards very high when it came to my later decision to review strip clubs while on the road.) Shotgun willies is also home to awesome events, (the thanksgiving mashed potato wrestling comes immediately to mind) with weekly celebrations and specials, including things like service industry night, catering to the tip-earning gents of our nation, among many others! In addition the T-bar grill is just out on the patio, where you can get steaks, salads, and the best burgers and Red Bull vodka slushees I've ever had. They also have vip and bottle service, which in this club has always been a bit pricey for my budget, (bottle service starts at 100$ I think, but they go up to a $5000 bottle of rare whiskey) but if you're doing a bachelor party or a celebration and don't mind spending a little extra, it's well worth it. Speaking of parties, best men and best friends alike, bring your grooms here, and get ready for a show! I've seen everything from eight girls dancing on the same groom to be, to a birthday boy getting his birthday spankings (with his own belt of course) from the hottest ladies in Denver.) In summation, this is a great club if you don't mind spending a bit more than elsewhere, mainly due to the well earned popularity of this particular establishment, which results in multiple people per girl, as opposed to multiple girls per customer. $500 gets you a fun hour or two, $1000 makes a good night, but VIP treatment isn't earned until $3000 or more. AMBIENCE & DECOR: Considering the clientele, I found Shotgun Willie's to be pretty clean. The men's room even had a respectable bathroom with hand towel service. Regarding their main room, they divide it into a lower and upper floor (which is only separated by, maybe, five to seven steps). They have several platforms, each lit with its own LED color. Patrons sit where they want. To the right of the room is the private lap dance area. Sorta seedy. Sorta sad. But who were we to judge? lol. The DJ plays decent hip-hop and R&B tracks. IV. OVERALLL: We shared laughs. We shared "wows." We shared boobs in our faces without even being asked.
