It was unusual to see that you don't see the cigars displayed anywhere in the store but you pick them out from a list of the companies menu and the they bring them out to you in a tray it must be something that has to do with the local laws against smoking not surprised. I had an awesome time with the lady who ran the store front she was very knowledgeable about her stogies knowledge. The store was very clean and they did offer a huge selection of premium Cuban cigars and accessories. I bought 5 boxes of cigars and she dropped them off at the airport for pickup so I didn't pay any VAT value added tax. I will travel again soon hopefully and will definitely stop here. I never meet such a wonderful helpful and honest people like the people of New Zealand. Cheers

The Elle Macpherson range is for sale here at something ridiculous like 10-15 dollars a bra, which usually retails at 50-60 at the mall. Excellent if you want to stock up on a bunch of underwear for the year, as it's just so dirt cheap, compared to what you would spend anywhere else, whilst you're still getting the brand names, and quality. They have Change rooms, at the store, should you need to make sure you're well fit. If you need help with sizing, the super efficient staff are on hand to take measurements. I always walk off happy, and with a load of underwear to last a good while.

The reason for this is because the prices are simply much more affordable and the quality is just the same! The selection is pretty impressive too with a wide range of stuff available. If you were after something very specific it might be best to go to your local specialist shop but otherwise you're bound to find something on the racks at this outlet store.

While it is easy to walk past this store with out paying any real attention to it, inside you can find some great treats. There are plenty of lighters, ash trays and smoking "accessories", even including a small selection of corncob pipes (though you can't get the pipe tobacco there). Now and Then also has some tacky but great macabre gifts, like skeletal ashtrays and skull statuettes. Incense pipes and paraphernalia, this is what we use to have instead of places like the brightly lit Cosmic Corner. This friendly store comes complete with Bob Marley T-shirts and ceramic dragons.

Best of all, they have a 30 day trial period and one of the best full replacement warranties available. More over, they offer a Total Satisfaction Gurantee. Thats right, they guarantee satisfaction, so what's the risk? Best still, most options cost about $2 a day!!! Amazing, thats a saving of over $100 per week for most smokers. Ironically enough, this is actually one of the better gift shops I've come across. I don't make a habit of gift shopping, but I try to make a habit of gift receiving, and I wouldn't mind if I got one from here - if I was overseas that is. On the day I went they had a weird little promotion where buy a number and they spin a thing, if you win you get a prize. There must have been about 40 Japanese school kids on a trip in the shop all hoping to win big so I missed out on having a chance, but it looked pretty cool. For once, a shop that actually outshines it's name.

I was impressed by the fact this souvenir shop sold work by New Zealand artists, probably commissioned based, but so are galleries. It is a great way to buy a unique gift for someone without having to trek out into the outer markets or surrounding suburbs if you on a tight time schedule but want to buy that something a little bit different and not mass produced overseas. Their was photographic art, ceramics with Kiwi iconography and New Zealand's natural timbers made into crafty useful objects. I personally picked up a small ceramic plaque with a kiwi bird on it and a nice green glaze over the top, it was by 'Art Locker' and cost me $9.20. I was pretty happy with that, and I hope my friends in Perth will too, since it is intended for them. A lovely little, well quite big actually, store to keep in mind when on the hunt for presents to go overseas.

Need a gift for granny? No problem, this is talc and soap city. There is also a great range of shampoo, conditioners and other hair product. They sell large salon size product too, so many washes for such a low price and loads of hair accessories. Nail polishes, make up and perfumes and skin care are more towards the front of the store and often you can get yourself some pretty good bargains. For example I once got a tub of Freeze 24/7 moisturiser for $50 instead of $135 and it wasn't expired. Do check the expiration dates though, usually they tell you if they are close to being past their shelf life but you never know.
