There's also a pretty well supplied dog food section. There aren't really any "grab-n-go" or prepared fresh foods available here. I was very impressed with the wide array of vegan products and analogs -- from many Western European countries (lots from Germany!). So many great options in the chocolate section by the door as well. Prices are variable -- while some items are quite gourmet (small package/high price) I was able to select some delicious & well priced items for beach picnicking. Highly recommend checking this place out.

They don't have hand-held menus but the waitress is happy to come over and have a chat and explain everything they have until you hear something you like the sound of. Update: They now have some 'trial' hand-held menus available and I've uploaded a few. The deals are only shown on the sign outside. The cafe is really small and cute. It seats around 10 at the tables inside, a few at the bar inside and there are two tables outside as well. Inside they tend to play relaxing music, jazz and things like that which gives the place a calm and classy atmosphere. It's also well located too - its right at Placa del Mercat near the 3, 20 and 15 bus stops (and others too). Drinks-wise, there are some really tasty smoothies made with organic fruit and vegetables, the owner makes a great (in my opinion) ginger and lemon water and there's also black tea and coffee at reasonable prices. Food-wise, there's traditional Spanish bread with whatever you want on top of it with olives, 'overnight oats' (which is very filling even though it looks small - you should definitely try this), and everything on the menu that you can see from the pictures I've uploaded. Even though the food looks small, it's delicious, filling and homemade. Definitely come here if you want a tasty, healthy and fulfilling breakfast with a personal note as the waitress is very friendly. She speaks both Spanish and English perfectly.

The big winner for me was the Fideua stand, which is kind of like paella, but with vermicelli noodles instead of rice. I had a surf & turf option with chicken and seafood, topped with mayo and cuttlefish ink sauce. It was delicious, perhaps the best meal of my entire trip. Another day, I went and tried a bunch of tapas, which were also good. I'm knocking off a star because of the dessert options. The dessert station is secluded in the back. It included a bunch of fancy mousses and cakes in the french style, but I didn't see any traditional Spanish items there. Even a little pastry stand would have been great, but I didn't see anything like that there.
