We went to the Casino, not to gamble but to eat. I got a burger & fries. It was average. Cheese was extra. I asked for no bacon, but they put it on any way. It's a good thing that I have no dietary restrictions -- I just didn't want to pay extra (I was not charged for the bacon). The burger was dry. I ordered gravy to go with my fries, it wasn't flavourful. The house coleslaw was creamy, but also no flavour. Due to COVID, they no longer have a buffet and their menu is very small, one page. The prices are average. I am sure that there are better places to eat locally in Gananoque. I ordered a Caesar to drink. It was okay. They served it with a pickled bean.

We ended up visiting this Shorelines Casino because it is located right next to the hotel we were staying. Though it is smaller with less slot machines, it felt quite spacious as the machines were not placed so close to each other. They really toned down the sound volume of those machines as it made the experience more enjoyable. There are daily specials in the restaurant for members so you might want to sign up for their membership program. Guest service counter only opens from 8 am to 10:30 pm so in case if you want to get your own membership.

Location: Small little casino right off highway 401 exit 647. Entrance: Security guy did not asked me questions besides 'how are you doing', when checking id. Right next to it is the customer service desk where you can create your membership card. Drinks: Inside there's one beverage station right outside the washrooms offering the standard fountain pop, coffee, tea, hot water, milk and cream dispenser. That area is kept quite clean at all time's, which is much appreciated. Bathroom: I appreciate that there are at least 14 stalls in the female bathroom. Waiting when you have to go is just aggravating y'know! Gambling: For such a small casino, I was pleasantly surprised that there's poker and roulette tables. But for me, I enjoy the 25 cent video poker slot machine. (I am glad they have 5 on the floor) it is unfortunate that video blackjack starts at $1 a hand. Food: I came on Thursday to eat the t-bone steak special for 14.99 (with the basic membership card). When you go to the host, she will give you a beeper, so you can keep gambling while you wait for a table. The steak itself is larger than the size of my hand. It comes with baked potatoe and some green beans and carrots. Steak was tender and not too thick, very easy to cut through. Overall: While it is a bit too far to come back from Toronto, if you're in the area, it's worth checking out!

Hmm, I'm having a hard time determining a rating for this place. The casino itself warrants maybe 2 stars. The food on its own merit, about 3 stars, but for the ridiculously low price, I'd have to bump it up to 4 stars for value. So I guess overall, 3 stars. So my husband found online that they have this special on Friday and Saturday nights where you can get 2 lobster tails and prime rib for $9.99. I like lobster, I like prime rib, and I definitely like deals, lol. However, I don't like gambling, and driving to Gananoque from Ottawa just for that dinner would be silly, as money spent on gas and the time it would take to get there would make it no longer a deal, haha. But recently we were in Brockville, and it was a Friday so we decided to check it out. First and foremost, you have to be a "member" to get the special pricing for the dinner. Membership is free, but you have to line up to register. It was poor luck on our part because the casino was in the process of switching over their membership cards from an "old system" to a "new system" so people with existing (old) membership cards were lining up to get the new ones. This made the line really long and slow moving! So we finally got our cards and we went to the restaurant. They said it would be a 1.5 hour wait. I have a feeling that the wait is always at least that amount of time so you have to go and gamble. They give you a buzzer which will buzz when your table is ready (so it's not like you can go into town and go shopping or anything, you have to hang around at the casino). The casino is small, it looks a bit rundown, and there are parts of it that smell like dirty diapers! I seriously gagged. They do have free coffee, tea and soft drinks (serve yourself), but this was one of the areas that smelled like soiled diapers. Apparently when you are a member, they mail you coupons for free stuff. That day people were redeeming coupons for a free carry-on luggage with wheels. So there was this huge lineup that snaked all around the casino, so to get from one place to another you inevitably had to cross this line of people at some point, and some people were thinking you were trying to cut ahead of them and were being all hostile. Anyway, we finally get a table at the restaurant (after losing $20 gambling). We both get the lobster tails and prime rib special. To our surprise, it came with a starter salad. And to my surprise, the salad was not iceberg! It was a real mixed greens salad with tomatoes and cucumbers in a raspberry vinaigrette. It even came with a dinner roll. Ingredients were fresh, and the salad was good considering it was included with the meal. The lobster tails and prime rib dinner was huge. The lobster tails were a good size, and the piece of meat I got was enormous (I did ask for it well-done, so I got the end piece - total score for me, I love the crunchy end pieces!). My husband got his medium-rare, and his piece was significantly smaller than mine. (Oh, and just so you know, I know that you are judging me right now for getting my meat well-done, lol). Anyway, it also came with a gigantic baked potato and some green beans and baby carrots. The lobster tails were a bit on the salty side, but other than that, the food was pretty good. I mean, obviously not the same quality as at a real steakhouse, but hello, it was $9.99. The quality was the same as pubs that have "Sunday Prime Rib Specials" usually for $19.99 or $24.99 (e.g. D'Arcy McGees, The Lieutenant's Pump, etc.). And despite getting my meat well-done it was still tender and not tough or chewy. Service was efficient and competent. I felt like they want to get you out as soon as possible so you can go back to gambling, haha. So, yeah, it was an experience. I don't think my membership card will be getting a lot of action.

This casino is very small & smelt a bit funny. Overall you can gamble get drinks & food so it's fun but be careful with the drinks my husband had 3 beers & I had three vodkas and each on our third one in about and hour and half times & the bar tender said we had to wait an hour that they don't let people drink too much. It was weird we're used to Atlantic City and I've never herd such a thing.

Such a garbage policy, today, September 23, I decided to stop by the casino after a long drive from Montreal. I taught Quebec was crazy with variation passports... but I realized here in Ontario is the worst. After staying thirty minuets in a long line up to enter the casino , the elderly security didn't allow me in because he wanted proof of vacation from me. I was highly shocked , I asked can I use the washroom at least I drove so long to play here ... he said no, sorry we can't let you in .... Long story short, stay away from these people ... probably soon they'll ask you for the specific type of vaccine , that means if Moderna vaccinates you, they might reject you and only allow Pfizer vaccinated people! who knows... the vaccines discrimination is started ... they are separating society based on vax or no vax ... my Question is... if Vaccinated people are immune from Covid ... what are they worry about? Aren't they vaccinated? This is a joke, trust me. People lost their brains... thank god they aren't letting me in the casino. I was going to lose 5000$ anyways ... I have 20,000$ cash in my pocket, and no, I'm not a drug dealer ... I'm a hard-working carpenter driving from Montreal to Toronto and decided to take a break-in This casino ...

I really enjoyed this little casino. The place is really clean and well kept. The staff is really friendly and overall care for your comfort. It has a good selection of slots considering the size of the place. It can get pretty busy in the afternoon on weekends but overall there's plenty to go around. There's a good amount of gaming tables and poker at the back. What surprised me was the food in the restaurant. Super fresh hot food. Great friendly staff. Very nice dining room. Really classy looking. Over all I had a great time!

Cute little casino I visited on my birthday trip. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly. I played a couple of bigger machines without much luck, but ended up getting the bonus on the Larry the Lobster game. So, I ended up with a little extra money for my trip. Cute little place not overcrowded (this was on a Monday afternoon). Will visit again. read more

I dont recommend this place for a fun time anymore, its few and far between. The bar service is atrocious, they removed a majority of their table games and the slot games are all geared to pay as little as they can for line hits. The only thing saving this place in the future is their buffet. Only on weekends tho. read more
While in Belleville, I stayed at TownePlace Suites. I noticed that there was a huge building next door. What on Earth was that? I realized that I was staying next to Shorelines Casino. I am not a huge gambler. It's likely because my first summer job was at the Ex for a gaming company. I also wrote user guides for machines that are in casinos. However, I do like going to check out the food and buffet. I decided to come here and explore. There is a ton of parking. It is also steps away from the hotel. It's easy to roll out of bed and hit the slots in a matter of minutes. I decided to sign up for an AXIS card. I basically filled out a form and walked over to the woman at customer service to get things set up. The music at this casino is so loud that I had difficulty listening to this soft-spoken woman. She was great and got my card set up, along with letting me know how the card works. I hit the slot machine. I played the Dolly Parton slot machine game. I had $10 and added it to my card. I was doing well, eventually winning $11. I then lost it all... haha! Shoreline Casino has a buffet. I don't normally like buffets, as volume is not top priority. However, the selection is what grabs me. There was a long lineup and everyone was at least twenty years older than I was. I figured out that it was $10 per person to eat there that night. I decided to pass, despite the decent price. You can use this AXIS card at the casino in Peterborough. Nice! The redemption machines that I used to write about were at this location. I wasn't traumatized, but it's amazing how far I have come in my career. Yet, the machines look the same after all these years. I had fun at this casino. I'd come back and maybe give the buffet a shot during off-peak hours. (354) read more

After I sold my house 6 months ago, I chose to move to the Belleville area so I could spend my retirement playing the slot machines. To date, I have easily put over 100K through their machines. They liked that and paid me $300 a week in free plays, sent me offers like a resort in the Bahamas, or 4 nights in their own local resorts, etc, etc. I felt appreciated as a client they wanted to keep coming back. 3 months ago I was playing 2 machines at the same time, playing and stopping them as quickly as the machines would allow, when someone complained because they didn't want to play any of the other 300 empty machines, they wanted one of my 2. The slot attendant checked into it and came back to inform the person that she had spoken to her boss and as long as I was "Actively" playing both machines, I was permitted to do so. Today however, was a different story. I was told that if anyone else wanted to play one of the 2 machines that I was playing, I would have to give one of them up! So which is it??? It doesn't really matter now, as I was surrounded by a slot attendant, a floor manager, and get this: a security guard! Anyway, I explained what the the decision was 3 months ago, and informed the manager that if I was forced to not be able to chase my by then sizeable investment in the hopes of obtaining at least one jackpot, then I would never return. Their response although polite was basically, "We don't care". So that's what I did. I cashed out, redeemed my hundreds of dollars worth of earned food credits, turned in my player's cards and walked out never to return. My last words on the subject goes to everyone reading this. Shorelines Belleville has over 300 negative 1 & 2 star ratings on Google. I find it very interesting to note that they haven't bothered to reply to any of them, but I do know why they haven't. They just don't care, because there are a hundred other suckers ready to replace you. To them you are no more than just another monkey trained to push a button, and you can easily be replaced. Do not be lulled into a false sense of feeling that you are appreciated. You are not. read more
This review is just for the restaurant. A pretty standard menu. I was surprised to see how many homemade things they had. A lot of the food coming out of the kitchen (fries and fish and chips) looked like it was overdone, but I opted for the pizza, which was perfectly cooked. I liked how you can make your own fairly cheap. It was delicious, and had some leftovers too. Nice service. read more

We were visiting friends in the area and came here to check out the Friday night T-bone steak special. We are not in the habit of visiting casinos (let alone country casinos), so we did this more for the novelty of it. Our friends parents had said the dinner was good. This place is in the business of wagering, and we were willing to bet $12.99 on a steak buffet. The building looks like a huge boxy sports facility surrounded by a sea of parking - the lots were all packed and the entranceway was bustling. The specials are only for members, so we signed up for a membership, which was not only free, but included $5.00 gambling credit. So now there was even a slim chance our steak would be on the house! The membership line was long (members get mail-outs with vouchers and other gift coupons, so were busy adding value to their cards, and picking up free towel sets, that day's freebie). We decided to save our credits until after dinner, and joined the huge buffet line-up. This, too, moved swiftly and we could suss out how this was going to go. You show your membership card(s) and pay, then you are shown to your table. Getting utensils means your table is taken. Then you head up and join the steak line, or get soup and salads to start. The salad variety is not huge, but the greens and Greek salad were fresh and tasty. Crumbled bacon bits were real, not powder. Dressings, the usual. I stashed that at the table and headed to the steak line. There are several hot sides to take here if you're into that (baked potato, ravioli), plus big vats of brown gravy, sour cream, horseradish, garlic "spread" (kind of like a margarine). The steak prep is not elegant (chefs grabbing handfuls of half-cooked steaks from plastic totes and throwing them to the grill for finishing), but it gets the job done. The steak handler bends the steak back to show you the inside so you can be happy with your preferred level of done-ness. With the crowd veering elderly here, I knew they wouldn't run out of medium-rare T-bones. I stuck with steak, baked potato and green salad. All of these were good. The steak was pretty decent for the price. One drawback was that it wasn't seasoned at all. I have grown accustomed to a little rock salt or Montreal steak spice on there, it goes such a long way to bring out that meat flavour. There was also a dessert buffet, with many classics, most looked decent, if fairly industrial, something you might get a Costco: chocolate cake, rhubarb pie, pecan pie, lemon custard tarts, butter tarts, nanaimo bars and raisin squares. There was also a soft serve ice cream machine with little jars of candy to dress up your sundae (gummy snakes, jujubes, cookie crumbles, etc.) A cute touch and we took advantage of it. Pop fountain was included, as was the tea and coffee bar. Coffee was good. We headed to the machines with full bellies and I played 5 rounds of "Deuces Wild" with each of my free dollars (25 cent bets). On one round, I was up to $2.75, so I decided to cash out on that one. In the final accounting, then, my giant, pretty good meal was just over $10. While the place is new and clean, and we enjoyed what was, for us, a random experience, it's truthfully a rather depressing place. The noise, the flashing lights, the warehouse architecture and cafeteria stylings, the misplaced hope, the posters offering gambling addiction counseling, the narrow demographic, the pamphlets about dogs, heat and cars. If you're not bothered by such things, or can ignore them for a few hours, you might as well drop in for a decent, inexpensive meal. read more

Went to this restaurant as a Christmas present to each other. Stayed in a local hotel and went to the casino for a little fun and what we expected to be a lovely traditional Christmas dinner. Boy, were we wrong! How can you go wrong with turkey????? Our server was very nice, however, our meals came out cold, there were no mashed potatoes on the plate at all (really????, no mashed potatoes?????). Turkey was dry and stuffing was almost missed. There were very few people in the restaurant, so being busy is not an excuse. They advertise a wonderful Christmas dinner but provide anything but. Don't understand at all. read more

That's right, it's not all you can eat, it's what they tell you what you can have. I really just wanted the lobster but was told that they didn't do it that way. They served you 2 tails, a large portion of prime rib, baked potato, and veggies. To me that was a waste, but I went along with it, figured I make up for it with the lobster later. Server returned and asked if I wanted more and I requested more lobster. She returned with 3 tails on a plate and informed me that was all I was getting. A total of 5 tails, that's it? Seems to me that is not all I can eat. No explanation or reason, just getting 5, that's the limit. Fortunately for me there were 2 ladies that ordered just the prime rib and you guessed it, it came exactly as my meal did they had to have everything as well. They overheard me talking to my wife about this place being fraudulent and a rip-off. Seeing as they didn't want their lobster they offered them to me. Thank-you ladies. If this casino is not going to honor what they advertise, then remove it from your meals menu. This is just fraudulent advertising. read more

This place is pretty good, however they are too small and very busy. The Saturday dinner (stars@5pm) deal is the best around. For $10 you get a small salad, prime rib slice with mash and 2 4oz lobster tails. They do tend to over cook the lobstails just a little and they cook the lobster inside the tails so it sticks to the shell. read more

It's not Vegas. Hell, it's not even AC, Charles Town, WVA, etc... but this casino is pretty legit. What sets this casino apart from a casino in the States, is the profits are returned to the providence of Ontario to continue to support and enhance the community. Very cool-might even take the sting out of not always winning? As you approach the entrance... Sign: "No ID, No Entry, No Kidding" (I just liked the sign-entry was smooth and uneventful.) OLG is a full service casino with plenty of parking. The dealers are friendly-ours even taught us how to play a new game (Spanish 21). There are a variety of tables, different min amount options, and it's a non smoking facility. The cards were with us here. If you happen to drop by, I hope you will be there for you too. ;o) read more

In the beginning..... This was actually a fair spot to grab a quick meal. I stress was. Food quality at the buffet has become fair to mediocre. What has really deteriorated is the staffing levels. Originally, they had someone at the cash and someone to bring you to your seat. When it was busy, two cashes and two or three staff to seat you. Now, at most times, there is one person to take your payment, check your ID if you're using the Access card, pick up utensils and then bring you to your seat. While that staff member is doing that, nothing is moving. This goes on even when it's busy. Wait times, for a mediocre buffet, can be as much as 20 minutes. Don't waste your time here. It's just not worth it. read more
The OLG invites you for a mini vacation, as you drive the 401 near Kingston. This is a modern full service casino, with a decent restaurant. It has a full complement of slot machines and table games. It looks bright, shiny and new. Parking is ample, a good coat check area and the ambiance is nice and relaxed. As in all OLG Casinos no one knows what the slot odds are. They are not published, as the OLG does not believe in telling you what percentage of your slot wagering you will contribute to charity. Based on previous experience, and many many wasted days and nights, I estimate that the slots are set at between 82% to 91%. This mean you will loose, in the long run 9% to 18% of what you wager. But its a charity casino...that may ease the pain. At the Blackjack tables the odds are better ( in the very high 90's) if you play basic strategy. Register for the player's card and you might get a free meal. Stop and enjoy your mini-vacation. Good luck! read more

I like the employees. Friendly. Nice atmosphere. But since shorelines took over the payouts are pretty bleak. Had many bonuses and get nothing. I at least expect to get my bet back. Whenever I visit family in Cornwall, I always stop by this casino in Gananoque. It is smaller than casinos in the GTA but they still have a variety of slots and tables. There is also a self serve drink station. On our last visit we decided to est in the restaurant. There are daily specials but if you order other items from the menu you get 15% off if you are an OLG card holder. In Thanksgiving they had a thanksgiving buffet for 6.99$, great deal. The staff in the casino and restaurant is friendly and helpful. Will continue to stop by read more

Don't expect to win anything. Expect long slow lines for the buffet. There are crowds because there is not much for people to do around Belleville. The free gifts are like things you would find at a dollar store. read more

Been to many many casinos and this is by far my favorite. I travel 2 hours to get there and is well worth the drive. Great deals on Supper and staff has always treated us well. Come on everyone you are going to a casino...who gives a shit if you have to wait for supper. What do you expect for such a great deal. I have received free play...and now they are sending me free hotel rooms. Don't get this with the ones in Ottawa. If you want fancy go to Vegas and play the big bucks to get there. read more

I have been going to the Shorelines since it opened. My family enjoys all the meals that they offer, so what if you wait a bit, you wait in a restaurant as well only difference you have to stand but you get to mingle with others while waiting. I usually am pretty close to breaking even every time I play the machines. Yesterday I was fortunate enough to hit a jackpot, the attendant that came to my machine was so pleasant and sincere in congratulating me on my win on behalf of herself and the Casino. She and people like her ie waitresses and cashiers are the reason I keep going. God Bless them all they work hard for there pay cheques. I certainly will be going again soon. read more

Ok, this place... Barely deserves a star. Cheap, cheap, cheap. CHEAP. So you go in and drop $1,500 playing cards. (Don't worry, I can afford it and look forward to having some fun while giving to charity.) Money is not the issue here. The issue is respect for the people who are paying big bucks for a service they are not getting. So what you get is cheap and disrespectful service. Been there 3 times. I quit. I will make the trip to any other casino but OLG. They are not professionals. Don't touch the soft drinks self-serve bar (you have to leave your game table and get it yourself or pay a wait person who may never return). The self-serve bar is always dirty. Don't go near the counter or you will get your clothes dirty from spills. Mugs or glasses (if there even are any) are sitting on some kind of slimy plastic web mat on top of dirty water on trays, since they don't bother to dry the glasses and mugs (which are worn and cloudy at best). The soft drinks are watered down. There are no napkins. There is no bottled water. There is no de-caf coffee. There are no stir-sticks. There are no wet-naps to clean your hands. The milk for coffee may be empty. Nobody knows where these things are. Nobody will help. It isn't anybodys job to keep that bar clean and stocked, so it is dirty every time. Possibly dangerously dirty with the mugs and glasses sitting on those filthy wet web mats. Lots of machines broken with not even a sign on them, you have to figure that out for yourself. Staff doesn't know anything about anything. If you ask a question they seem to think that - I don't know - is an acceptable answer, and wander away, smirking. Power failures. Every time I go there. They always say it is bad weather, but I never saw any bad weather. Just saw the machinery stop, the lights go down, and the staff look confused and then disappear. Several times in one day. Shouldn't they be trained for this if it is going to happen so often. Shouldn't they be reassuring the patrons. Cant the OLG afford to fix it. No wonder there is hardly anyone there. In their gloomy, coldly-lit restaurant, with sometimes too-loud music, the food is quite good if you manage to order the right thing. Ask if things are fresh or frozen processed. After begging their sometimes arrogant so-called customer service people for a dinner comp, and not ending up with enough for a meal, I have a sandwich and wonder why spending $1,500 in a couple of hours doesn't get me a decent meal comped, as it would in Vegas. I don't spend my money in the restaurant any more, I just sadly eat my sandwich. For the last time though... No wonder people make the trip to Vegas. - There you get treated like someone who just spent $1,500 for a couple of hours of entertainment. Nothing but the best, and a little respect. Will the OLG, with their empty casinos, wake up to the fact that people don't mind spending money but expect to be treated accordingly. I don't think so and have decided not to go back. Goodbye OLG. read more

This is your typical casino, but much less subpar to other casinos. The service was awful, and left great room for improvement. There was a lot of space at the bar, but the bartender took her sweet time helping. When she finally did assist, she didn't make the drink properly. The gaming space is cramped & tight. I won't be coming back, that for sure. read more

My most recent trip to this casino will be the last for me and my friend. I felt that the security overstepped their boundaries and created a threatening environment for myself and my friend. We had just pulled into the parking spot when a security guard tapped on our door asking my friend if he was accompanying a minor. She stated that security had spotted a minor in the vehicle upon entering the parking lot. I stated that I was not a minor and was 28 years old. I realize that I look young for my age, but I have never been scrutinized to the point where I have been stopped before even exiting my car. There are enough questions at the door about your license to cover this. How can a person sitting in an office looking at a screen judge the age of a person through a windshield? It was embarrassing and made me feel like I was a wanted suspect. My friend was also embarrassed as he was being accused of accompanying a minor to the casino. I already go through the 20 questions at the door about my license after they put it through the machine. I had another negative experience when accompanying my client to the casino who has Down Syndrome and is non-verbal. He was so excited to go but sadly was scrutinized at the door. He is 47 years old but had to go in the under 30 line with me to stay by my side. I stated he was not under 30, but had his license in case, as he was in the line with me. The security guard decided to look at his license anyways and proceeded to ask him how old he was. My client did not respond due to his diminished communication skills, which led to me explaining that he has a disability and is non-verbal. He continued to examine his ID for a moment before returning it back to me and then continued to ask me my 20 questions as usual. Even though he is non-verbal, he is still very aware of what is happening around him and I felt it was unwarranted for him to go through that procedure. After these experiences, I do not feel welcome back, nor do I want to take my client back, even though he is fascinated by all the lights and sounds of the inside. It is a hassle and it makes me uncomfortable to think of going back and being treated like a criminal. I understand protocols, but I feel they take it a step too far. read more

Great fun, great service. Lots to do whether you like slots, poker, or roulette. Free soda and water at self dispenser located at the far west side of the building. Get an Axis card as you come in and enjoy discounts at the Windward Rest. and the Buffet. Buffet food is really great and is a step above local buffets. Price point meets even the savvy travellers' budget plan. Washroom are spacious and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Great night out for gaming. read more

Walk past all the pensioners and bored staff to a machine. There isn't much else going on here.

I like the ambiance here. It's lively but not too loud, spacious enough but not too large or enormous, and has a pretty good variety of tables and slots of various amounts. There's nothing snooty or pretentious about this place, but it is clean and comfortable and in no way gross, which some casinos can be. No idea about food or drink though. A nice and easy way to spend an hour or two... read more

Just walk straight in and play. Security seemed alert. Dealers are pretty good. Age is 18+ but you see a lot of younger players that look a little "iffy" Great atmosphere! Definitely worth a try. Hotel is right there if you need one. They also offer free rooms at the table,if you are a high baller and staying all night. read more

Spouse , Gwynne, had worst experience ever at Belleville casino last night, security at this place is almost none existent and certainly ineffective anyway. She playing slot machine, got up to go to washroom and bank machine , wrapping her player card cord around her chair to save while there, guy elbows past her pushes chair back which hits and pushes her, sits down in chair , when she says I'm still playing this machine he says no you're not you're done, she responds that her card and money are in machine, he removes card and hits button to get money ticket out and drops on key board. In mean time his woman companion is swearing/yelling at wife with F word then threatens her, says I'll take you outside and punch you out. Security or attendants not uniforms, did arrive , 2 people, said to wife you really can't hold a machine and leave , (to go to the bathroom or bank machine? Ridiculous , done all the time) . One attendant then just stood back and watched the guy. Guy only put about 20$ in then got up and left. This was border line on assault and certainly the verbal threat was an assault , all against a woman in her seventies. You would have thought casino would have simply thrown these ignorant people out. Even people at neighbour machines could not believe security took no action. She is now so frightened of what can happen at this casino she says she does not want to go back there. So message of this event is, watch yourself at this casino, it is obviously not a very safe place. read more

Went yesterday for the Prime Rib and Lobster Tail dinner special for members which is all you can eat for $9.99. What you save on food you spend on the slot machines while you wait for your name to called for your table. A crafty way of getting their money back. They do offer free coffee, tea, soft drinks and water which is self-serve to keep you refreshed while you wait. Members, if they stood in line, could receive a free gift for Father's Day. Since I did not stand in line I can't tell you what the gift was but if the length of the line-up was any indication of the quality of the gift I guess it is safe to say most thought it was worth the wait. You were limited to 5 lobster tails but the roast beef which was thick cut and the baked potato, cheese biscuits and fresh vegetables were bottomless if you could get the attention of the wait staff. This place is busy and the staff barely had time to breathe between orders. My table companion felt his roast beef was overdone but I felt my medium rare was just fine. The melted butter for the lobster tasted different. It reminded me of coloured oil with some flavour added to it. Overall, it is a decent meal for the price if you stay away from the gambling part. All restaurants in casinos are located at the back so you have to pass by all the machines and tables before you get to it. The cash machines only spit out $100.00 dollar bills for you to feed into the machines. The price of your night out can add up easily if you follow all their leads. Be careful with your money folks. These people know how to market themselves. They offer you a good deal in one hand and help you spend the rest of your money in the other. read more

WARNING to those going just for the special $9.99 all you can eat lobster tails & prime rib dinner offer. I went on August 11 with my husband and another couple. It had been planned for weeks and we had all really looked forward to it. We arrived at 6:00 pm and waited two and a half hours to get a table! My friend and I are not gamblers so we waited at the bar and had 2 drinks each. When we finally got our table, I went to the washroom and when I got back to my table two men (Geoff Scott, the casino shift manager, and Nick Swackhammer, security supervisor) asked me to leave, saying they noticed I was "staggering" on my way back to my table! They first spoke to my husband about me, who told them I was fine, which I absolutely was. I disputed their assessment of me and asked to see the security video footage that they were basing their claim on and they refused. The treatment I received was extremely embarrassing, intimidating, and unwarranted, we believe it was because we had not gambled while waiting so beware if you're going for just the dinner and no gambling, especially if you have a drink or two while waiting. You may never get that dinner! Based on the treatment I received, I will never go back, and neither will our friends. read more

Definitely needs improvement. To have real sheds and to produce sub par food is beyond me. If you go to casino Rama the restaurants are all amazing. Shorelines needs to step up and make this much much better. read more
