First of all the parking - there is a very small parking lot at the park building in front of the sanctuary. Actually, you are supposed to park in front of the cemetery that we passed just before (The one with Roosevelt's grave). Otherwise, you take the extensive paths through a serene area infused with Theodore Roosevelt's love of nature. We did not see any birds on our brief visit but the overall tone of the park cast a peaceful spell over us at all time. The graduated steps are very well maintained here, in direct contrast to those at Cold Spring Harbor State Park down the road. There are lots of benches for walkers and circular seminar seating for those taking guided tours. Thr only sounfs here were the chirping of unseen birds and one dog at the end of the trail. It is a park that demands return visits and we will obey.

I enjoy working out and over the last months had to limit my workouts due to the pain. After visiting Yasmin she released a significant amount of tension I had on the back of my neck and from my back she uniquely maneuvered my left arm outward. I felt an enormous release during and after the session thankfully reaching my sinus headache as well. I still feel some discomfort and feel my sinus acting up but I don't think my issues are a one visit deal. I am already looking at my calendar to visit Yasmin in the upcoming days. Leaving people on oxygen tanks that will run out without warning and the person requires supplemental oxygen. Putting people in diapers because you are tired of them asking for a bed pan. People come to you for improvement not to take steps backwards in progress The family member should not have to tell you to send the resident to the hospital. When I refused they asked me to leave cash to cover possible copay's in advance for few visits. I had never had this kind of requests in other PT facilities. But the most unappealing was their tier system of services! For what insurance covers you'll get only 20 min of their services. If you want 40 min or 60 min you have to cough up more cash additional to your insurance and co-pay. Too money oriented facility. I cancelled all my appointments. Though I must admit he therapist Ulin Li was knowledgeable and positive, but that didn't tip the scale towards using this facility.

I woke up a couple minutes before the virtual waitlist went live and then refreshed the page as soon as it hit 5:30 AM. You have to type quick so it's good to either have auto fill turned on or have things copied and pasted. Once you sign up on the waitlist you will get a text message and you can refresh the initial waitlist page to see your place in line. If you are higher than 35, go back to sleep and get your beauty rest. If you are in the top 10 you are basically guaranteed in. Anyone 20-35 may have to bank on some no shows. If you are in the first 10-15, you will get a text around 6 AM telling you to arrive at the site just before 7:30, which is when intake starts. If you don't get the text, that doesn't mean you don't have a shot, but it's not guaranteed your animal will get spayed. Once you show up, intake will begin about 7:30 AM. They will send you a text when it's your turn to register. It takes about 10 minutes and then they will take your animal to check them and make sure they can perform the surgery. I was able to leave around 8 AM and they told me to return at 3:30 PM. It was quick and easy to get my pup at 3:30 for pickup. I had to wait a little for them to take her out but they provided really detailed instructions including a pamphlet and e-collar and also answered all of my questions. All in all, great experience! The staff was lovely and again they did a great job especially during COVID.
