They had very little vegan options and not enough activities for the cost . Staff was not helpful when we tried to get guidance and advice.

Love it here. Peaceful, good people and fresh food. Sit at the library, or by the lake.., meditation or yoga... take the time to de-stress!

I'm coming for a five day retreat and staying in the tent cabins. Anyone else stayed in them? Is there any other furniture but the beds and a nightstand? Like a writing table? How's the walk down to the main campus? Other tips? Thanks!

We came in August and it was way colder than we expected! There are electrical outlets, a floor lamp, 2 twin "cots" w padding and a blanket, but no table or chair - at least in the one we had. Our tent cabin wasn't too far into the woods, but I'm… Read more

I am coming for a silent retreat. Should I bring my meditation cushion and back support or are there sufficient cushions available? Many thanks!

There are cushions-- though it can be nice to have one's support cushions.

How much is staying Friday through Sunday?

That depends on what type of housing you stay in & what workshop you are taking. There is no set price just to come for the weekend. The workshops all have different prices, & so do the housing options, so the price changes based upon what your… Read more

Hi I'm taking a course at Omega Institute in Rhinebeck,NY, can anyone tell me how the camping sites are run?

There are 2 options for camping, down by the lake & up in the woods. The sites down by the lake are out in the open & on beds of grass. The sites up in the woods are in & amongst the trees on the forest floor. All of the sites are on the bare… Read more

I am registered for a retreat, and will be on a dorm. Could anybody tell me how to stay in the dorm is?

It's a single room with a twin bed, & then you share the bathrooms/showers with the rest of the building, roughly like 8 people.
