I finally decided on having the full ceremony taped - I am SO happy that I did!!! Michelle captured moments and emotions that we will get to relive over and over again. Michelle was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning and on the day of our wedding. We were absolutely thrilled with the highlight video, as well as the full video from our ceremony. I think it is also worth nothing that Michelle flew under the radar the entire time - so many people didn't even realize we had a videographer! Which, I believe speaks to how professional and unobtrusive she was. I HIGHLY recommend Michelle, and Zest Kauai!

She came highly recommended by Morgan Childs of Moana Events, and having known Michelle personally for many years, hiring her was an easy choice. To be honest, I was skeptical about needing a videographer, but after seeing just our highlight video alone, I couldn't imagine not having had Michelle there (in fact, I wish we had her stay longer!). Capturing the words of our ceremony, the cocktail reception, our guests reactions when we entered the tent for the first time, the surprise hula I did for my husband, our first dance, and all of the other sounds and words of happiness was so important to me. But the magic really happens during the editing process, and Michelle did a superior job. She blended wonderful moments, words and music together seamlessly, creating a beautiful story of our special day. Not only was the video she produced top-notch, Michelle was on time, professional, and completely inconspicuous (most of our guests saw the video and responded by saying, first, that it brought tears to their eyes and second, that they didn't even realize that we had a videographer there!). No small feat considering all of the cameras etc. that Michelle had with her that day. She was easy to communicate with both before and after the event, and finished our video quickly. When we received our hard-copy video in the mail, it was beautifully and thoughtfully wrapped with a hand-written note from Michelle and stunning still photos she took out from the video that were framed in the leather CD case the disc was in. From beginning to end, it was such a pleasure working with her. We watch our video all the time and it is truly something that we will treasure for a lifetime. If there is one thing you make room for in your budget, make sure it's to have Zest Kauai there to capture your special day. Thank you Michelle!

When my wife and I decided to do a destination wedding in Hawaii, we had no clue where to start. I started out researching photographers and ministers, when I contacted Aloha Ever After and spoke with Timory, I just knew this was the right company and the right people to make our wedding the best it could be. We set our wedding date for Dec.9,2018. (I know, I unintentionally procrastinated with my review.) But our experience was phenomenal and the memory stays with us every day. Timory did an incredible job helping us with information to get the marriage license, flowers, suggested accommodations in the area and even provided great options for the ceremony. after seeing Shipwrecks Beach, we chose that as the place to start our new life. We arranged to have her partner/Husband Joel perform the ceremony and Timory on photography. They were both awesome to work with, in tune with our wishes and exceptional with assisting us the whole way. The ceremony was beautiful, we did a sand ceremony as well and all of the photos were absolutely breathtaking! One of my outstanding memories during the ceremony was Timory asking us to pause briefly to look into the ocean, there was a Manta Ray lingering just off the beach, in front of our location, she said that was a rare occurance at that beach, in fact, she said she hadn't seen that in 20 years of performing weddings at that beach, the locals at the Tidepools restaurant all concurred and didn't believe it until I showed them the photo. we chalked it up as the spirit of our lost loved ones joining our special moment. that was super cool to experience. I truly can't say enough about Aloha Ever After, The prices were more than reasonable, the help with planning was priceless, the team of Timory and Joel and the overall experience is something I'll never forget. We've returned once to revisit for our anniversary and to reflect on the memories. We hope to go again someday to renew our vows and you know my first call will be to Aloha Ever After! Thank You for a job well done!

We just received our photo CD a little less than 4 weeks after our ceremony and they are just gorgeous! Kent was very hands on from the start, when I contacted him about the vow renewal while in Kauai (to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary). Our set-up was really simple - just the two of us, a minister, lei's, bouquet and the photography (I think it was the barefoot package + additional with the bouquet). We had a few check-in calls and e-mails to finalize details and then we talked the morning of the ceremony. Kent was really great to work with, easy going and attentive. Our minister (Hawaiian Spiritual) was equally great and made the ceremony extra special. Overall, things could not have gone any better - it was a day that we'll never forget. I still can't get over how amazing the photos were. Our ceremony was at Shipwrecks beach :) I think overall as long as you give all the details to Kent and tell him what you're looking for everything will be great! He has a lot of information and takes pride in what he does, and it shows. I would highly recommend Coconut Coast Weddings!

I was hesitant to trust a man with my ceremony (you just always feel that a woman will be more in touch with these things) but not wanting to be sexist, I was happy to give him a shot. Throughout the summer, we had significant difficulty receiving responses from Kent, repeatedly having to follow up via phone on emails that we had placed. He was always cordial, but never apologetic. He repeatedly forgot details of the ceremony, so much that I ensured that I kept my own file on all communications to ensure that I had proof of the messages. Again...no apologies. Friendly and very true to his Hawaiian culture, but the antithesis of professionalism. Concerned about the actual conduct, we agreed to meet with him to review logistics once we were on the island. However, we never got that far. With just 12 days to the ceremony, he had the audacity to email us and 'suggest' that we change the location of the ceremony because 'he didn't realize that we were staying at the resort that we were staying and felt that it was not convenient.' Needless to say, with no confidence of his abilities to execute our wedding the way that we wanted, we let him go with only a week to replace him. You can only IMAGINE the anxiety! Shentel at Hanalei Colony Resort stepped in and, in just two days, replaced all vendors and conducted the PERFECT ceremony for my fiance' and me. She was FLAWLESS! Not once throughout this entire experience did he apologize for his ineptitude. This man relies on the reputation of a coordination business that he has only recently assumed responsibility for. He is a photographer by trade and I would highly recommend that he relinquish his coordination hat and stick to photography.

I had never been to Kauai or even on a tropical vacation anywhere and they were always available to answer my questions and helped me plan everything out exactly like I wanted.
