Even tho people think Winners are all the same, let me tell you that this one is different. It's actually the best one out there. I have been to probably all winners in Laval and Montreal and i always come back to this one. I don't know why, but they always have the best merchandise ever. I mean, you will always end up buying something from there. Other Winners are good but not as good as this one.

I needed some exercise clothes and some clothes for a camp trip and figured I'd pop in here before heading to MEC down the street and honestly, I found everything I needed for a quarter of the price. Of course they don't have any specialty equipment, and some of it is luck, for sure, depending on what rolls through the door. Winners gets brand name and fairly high quality apparel and home decor but they it in get piles of random sizes and colours or lines that just didn't sell enough to escape the bargains. For athletic clothes it was great. I found lined, water-wicking pants good for winter camping or jogging in the cold, merino wool long johns that I may not take off till July, high wasted super comfy and thick leggings, and cuuuute sports tops. It's important to feel cute if you're going to be sweaty. I also found a bunch of stuff I considered buying for the house but decided to wait. Worth checking out for the prices though, especially if you;re already in the area to check out a movie or MEC or the Marche Central.

I'm surprised that there's no existing Yelp page for this store, as there are a few UCHUU sites in…read moreMontreal, and it's been around since 2016. It's a woman-owned, Montreal based brand that specializes in women's clothing and accessories. I've passed this shop on Greene quite a few times in the past, and my mother has often visited here with her friend over the past few years. Today was the first time I actually went inside and I was impressed by the pricing, as everything in the store was 60%! (It's not often I stumble upon a good sale like this!). I should note at the outset that this shop has only women's clothing and accessories (sorry, guys and kids!). Also, this shop doesn't have classic, traditional or basic clothing. Rather, everything here is trendy, funky, some borderline wacky (!), all fun, most unique, some "out there". Think purses made completely of faux fur with pom-pom zipper pulls, jackets covered with sequins in various colors and patterns, leather-like black jackets with tons of zippers, long and full red tuille skirts, groovy mini-dresses made of metal mesh and silver discs, and more, so much more. SO so fun and funky. Yet, yet.....in between all these wild fashions, there ARE some more ...."regular" fashion to be found. I saw a fabulous black pair of pants that were high-waisted with gold sailor buttons at the top and, wow, if I were younger and thinner, I'd get these in a heartbeat. They totally rocked, and were really well-made, too. They had a black swing top that I loved, and a silver belt with a retro/60's-esque modular belt buckle that was awesome. There was a rack at the back of more basic t-shirts and tops, tank tops to wear as base layers, and other foundation items (the clothes on this rack were the only items in the store that were not offered on their 60% off sale). They had lots of accessories that were cool (lots of big rings and hoop earrings, leather belts in various solid colors, hats, bling-ed out water bottles, and more). By the cash was a rack of scarves and most of these were amazing! Very graphic, some very colorful, all terrific! I found a few that I really loved and, being 60% off, what a steal! I got one for a friend's birthday that regularly cost $65 (and looked like it'd cost more, actually). I was thrilled with my find, and what a great deal. The lady working the cash was super nice and fun to talk to. This is such a fun and funky shop, and surprising to find, on posh Greene Avenue where usually the fashions in shops are more staid and traditional. Cool!

Vincent is very unprofessional and hung up on me when I asked for a full refund after not receiving this credit. I sent the jeans back- paying for the shipping myself -they confirmed reciept and also confirmed that the articles were in acceptable good condition BUT they refuse to give me a credit or a refund? I also called up and spoke with a Manager at Naked and Famous and he tried to blame this on me the customer and tried to state that Naked and Famous was only an affiliate and couldnt help me. the classic gaslamp run around. Result they keep my $376 without providing the product. Then this Manager says: "we've never ever had a customer service problem before --you're the first one." Who needs to deal with thieves--Do yourself a favor and buy jeans somewhere else. In my experience Levis are a lot more reasonably priced and much more accurate on sizing. This company tate And Yoko and their affiliate Bare Naked Denim do not honor credits and stole $376 from me. It's interesting to look at the clear pattern in all the other Yelp Reviews: Almost all 1 and 2 star reviews are from Americans whereas ALL of the 5 stars are exclusively from Canadians. One might come to the conclusion that the Clerks and the Managers at both Tate And Yoko as well as Naked and Famous despise American customers. Yet they take (ie. steal) Americans money. They like their dollars apparently.
