Deals, Deals, Deals !!…read more If you're in the Memphis area, then you have to check out the Southaven Outlets. This is a Tanger Mall, and although there are lots of deals to be found, you can find additional deals and discounts with the app. After a weekend in Memphis, I went to Southaven to find great deals. I stocked up on Columbia, PUMA, Nike, and Under Armour and even with the USD to CAD exchange rates, I still saved quite a bit of money. There are many stores to choose from, as well as coffee and food options, so that you can recharge and get more shopping done.

The moment I got there, I was hit with that familiar "Do I really need this?" battle in my brain as I eyed everything from Nike sneakers to Kate Spade handbags. The layout is open and bright, making it easy to wander from one store to the next without feeling like a lost tourist on a mall safari. Parking was plenty, so no awkward circling while pretending to look for a spot--always a win. Food options? Let's just say if you go expecting a five-course meal, you might want to pack a snack (or seven). Auntie Anne's Pretzels and Krispy Kreme do their best to keep spirits up, but I found myself dreaming of a food court throne to rest my weary feet and carb-load. By the time I left, my shopping bags were heavier than my willpower, and my wallet was a little lighter (thanks, good sales). Tanger Outlets is basically a retail therapy session disguised as a sunny day out--and honestly, I'd book an appointment again. Five stars for the deals, minus one star for the snack selection (I'm still salty about that).

Local Lime and City Silo are both fun and delicious places to eat at now. Due to its popularity, on some weekends it's well nigh impossible to find an open parking spot. So, my family and I have adapted to patronizing this area during the middle of the work week. I really like the collection and variety here, and recommend this shopping center as a relatively safe and high-quality location.

Most all of the high end shops in America are right here waiting for you. For good reason too... Tons of options including Vineyard Vines, Lululemon, Tecovas, Kendra Scott, Lovesac, and the only area Apple Store. That is just in one freaking section! You can literally park and walk to all of the places I just mentioned. I could go on and on about what is here. You get what you pay for in life. I have learned over time that you can actually buy happiness. A wise man (actually he owned a strip club and was a major alcoholic back when I was a broke bartender), once said.... "Why do I care how much it costs, they print more money every day". I didn't get it then, but now I do. It's so you can lay it on down at one of these fine establishments. Come.... Lay it down

Not many people know where any cities are in Mississippi. My mother once told me that the three biggest cities in Mississippi are Memphis, Birmingham, and New Orleans. When all of your family lives in the south, then you and your parents get to be the ones to fly back there twice a year to visit. In December we would only go for a week or so but during the summer we would go for weeks on end. Lambert, Mississippi is a small town. They don't even have a Piggly Wiggly. The big news around town one summer was about their first stoplight. The next summer the big news around town was how the stoplight had been removed. There wasn't enough traffic to make it cost effective. As an only child, spending weeks on end in Lambert, Mississippi, I was really excited when shiny new things began being built in Batesville. Batesville is the "big city" about 15 minutes from Lambert. They have a Piggly Wiggly AND stoplights! First came a Dairy Queen and then the Cracker Barrel. (http://www.yelp.com/biz/cracker-barrel-old-country-store-batesville) Then they put in the most glorious outlet mall in the history of outlet malls. Granted, it didn't have the best store selection and the stores were continuously changing but, thank goodness, I had somewhere to keep myself entertained for a few hours and do some back to school shopping. I haven't returned in a few years but I will always have fond memories of this outlet mall.

At only a…read more30-ish minute drive, we were looking for some great shopping, and this mall did not disappoint. This is a really convenient outdoor mall, and has a very aesthetic landscape. The buildings have updated brick and neutral tones, and the walkways are clean and flow well. There is a ton of parking, along with large walkways in both the parking lots and along each storefront. While there are a lot of vacant storefronts in need of unique businesses, all of the basics for a good shopping are here; Soma, Dillards, Barnes and Noble, American Eagle, and H&M, just to name a few. There are also surprisingly a lot of restaurants for such a small area. Although some of the walkways are shady and breezy, making for a chilly walk on days the weather drops below 70°, there is a lot of sunlight while walking around the complex. Not only is it a great place to shop, it's also a great place to grab a friend and/or your dog and take a nice stroll. We will definitely be back when we visit again, and we're looking forward to see what stores they bring to the Crossing.

This mall has seen better days as far as occupancy is concerned. It once had a very diverse selection of stores to choose from. Now days, not so much. Dillards is still here and it is still a good Dillards. You have no problems finding some help, getting what you need. It's probably the best Dill's around. I am glad it's still here because the side it's on is like 20% full at the most. It was bought recently and is trying really hard, but I don't know man. They are leasing to some strange tenants, like taekwondo and karate studios, and a (swear to god) Slime store. Like you make slime there. That is the whole thing. The old Macy's is now some scary furniture store. I think there are at least 4-9 squatters in that mug. Milano's is even gone now!!!! What???!!!! Why????? I'm seriously going to cry. Nashoba opened recently and they have a cool concept, but need to start getting the food right. If you read this whole thing, you are now also a dork. '24 - 75-102
