Terrible terrible business practice. My daughter wrote a check here and made an error in her math, the check was returned. She owned up to her mistake and wanted to fix it with her next paycheck. The owners told her she had to pay it immediately or they would turn her in to the county attorney for writing bad checks and called several times, ignoring her request to make it right in 10 days, even sent threatening letters saying as much. I understand small businesses need their income to stay alive, but what are you saying about yourself threatening a kid who made a mistake with legal action. I wonder if the owners even realize that that $25 they pitched such a fit over has cost them about $200+/mo in business. I typically will go out of my way to support small business, but in this case, Our entire family (4 vehicles) happily drives by this place now and goes to Casey's to get gas. read more
