We decided to make the drive down to Westport to check out a particular item the Shooting Supply had in stock! It's about an hour out from Boston. We worked with two nice gentlemen during our visit. Though they didn't know the exact specifics of the firearm we were looking at, they sure did try their best to find us an answer! And for that, we were appreciative. They had a decent selection of firearms, from pistols to shotguns and more. If you're paying with cash, it's a 3% discount. So not much of a difference paying cash/card. STAY CLEAR OF THIS SHOP!!! They will 100% try and take advantage of you! They WILL sell you a gun as "new" that THEY have previously fired. With color missing off the SERIAL NUMBERS (on a brand new gun this is not normal.) Neither is carbon markings all over the "brand new" magazines. Rear sights completely out of alignment. Older style shop down in Westport, first time in. The staff may not have all the answers to your questions, but the gentlemen that helped me today both tried to find one, all good I did my own research overall. Just as a consumer I would figure the shop would know more about the model they are selling. It's all good though, they had what I was looking for even though a CA model isn't preferred the difference is not that big of a deal. Everyone was nice today, have no complaints, checked out some merchandise and took a look at some long rifles, shotguns and pistols. Once ready, fill out the kiosk to start your paperwork and they'll finish it out back on their end and print out your paperwork, have you sign and all that. Keep that for your records. All in all some great deals to be had, I subscribe to their email and see if anything catches my eye from time to time. If You've been to a gun store with poor customer service and loved your experience you'll love this place.. some context- I've been a firearm owner for 45 years, years of Federal tactical training and a collector of many handguns and long guns for 30 years. . Walked into this store for the first time this week and the woman assisting me could not have been ruder.. showed me a few handguns and went to the back and disappeared.. next guy was a bit better but when a line started to form outside they asked me to leave If I wasn't buying anything Guess what people.. you just lost multiple sales and I'll never stop in there again and will tell all my friends about my experience there After reading in the news when I got back home, that they sold illegal Glocks that are not Ma compliant I guess I made the right choice to leave read more

Horrible customer service. They sold me a used weapon with no magazine. I was not informed the weapon had no mag at time of purchase. The tag did not state the weapon was missing parts. When I asked "hey where's the mag" they went in the back to look but could not find it. The owner told me they would source one for me and give me a call. No call. When I call and asked the owner is now telling me to pound sand and it's not her fault for improper inventory. No integrity here. It's a $20 mag but they won't be bothered. read more

I started going to them a few months ago. They have a great selection, and an awesome staff well knowledgeable, and every now and then like the bust balls. The only thing I can compare it to is the Cheers of firearms shops. My only regret is that I did not go there sooner instead of another firearms store. read more

Called about an email ad that I received that stated it is in stock. When I called about the advertised sale I was told it was NOT available and that MAYBE it will arrive but not sure when or what day. I was looking to get this on the day it was actually advertised for sale and not on a maybe some other day that it may be available or maybe not. Sounds to me like your usually bait and switch! I was also PROMISED I would receive a call if or when the rifle would arrive and of course a big NO call. As if we don't have enough crap with this 2nd amendment state here in Massachusetts we live in but now we have to deal with false advertisement too? read more

Horrible customer service , the old guy behind the counter made me feel extremely unwelcome . His knowledge of guns was lacking . He had absolutely no idea on how to give advice on the guns in the shop . His attitude was as if he didn't care if he made a sale or not . Highly advise to avoid this shop . Went there yesterday, among other things, to buy some ammo for shooting skeet & picked up a case of 28ga shells (a sealed box of 10) that were out on the floor with a price tag for the full case. When I went to the counter I was told that I could only buy one (1) box at a time. I get that ammo is the new toilet paper, but seriously, anyone who knows about shooting skeet knows the average shooter probably goes thru 3-4 boxes in a day. So...I didn't buy the one (1) box I was offered. Instead, I purchased 2 cases online today at about the same (exorbitant) price. This is what happens when businesses don't understand or try to work with their customers a little more; we end up buying online or out of state when we'd really rather support our local businesses. Things are tough for everyone these days, but you folks could be working a little harder to keep your customers happy IMO. Your business isn't exactly suffering from what I can see. read more
