I scheduled a visitation at 11 AM for my best friend of 12 1/2 years. After taking care of the payment and paperwork I was led to the visitation room, The moment I laid eyes on the deceased I turned and said that's not my dog to which I was met by that's not possible, I tapped my phone and said this is Eli that is not. I was left in the room with the unknown deceased dog until I went outside to collect myself. I was then told they were on the phone with the vet to figure out where Eli is. They finally said Eli was there but due to human error Eli was already cremated. I was supposed to see my best friend for the last time today, Instead I was traumatized for life and will never know who I actually brought home. I am disabled and unable to work Eli was my heart and world instead of seeing my best friend and kissing his head for the last time I will always question whether or not it was my baby I brought home. Are you kidding me. I'm devasted over the death of my dog and they cant get it right. They seriously don't give a shit and now I question what's really in this box because of all this. They answered all questions at all times of the day. They with us at all times. If we needed adjustments , they did it. The way they prepared his body for viewing. He looked like himself a few years back. A perfect color match and he looked healthier than when he passed. I can't explain it. He looked like dad. Our service ran long and they didn't rush us. He was able secure police escort through the towns all the way to his resting place. Lou was the best. My mom has already told us she wants them to be in charge of her arrangements.
