Let me start by saying I was very lucky to have found Rash Decisions Dermatology and…read more Dr. Marchand on short notice. My sister had developed some brown spots on her back, along with a small skin lesion on the side of her nose and a larger wort type growth on her forearm. She hates going to doctors, especially for every little thing. Our sister who has assisted her with care since she lost her husband 4 yrs ago, said she was concerned about some of the areas and we should really get them looked at soon. Her nurse practitioner recommended she go to a dermatologist because some looked concerning. I tried to get an appointment for her but had very little luck since the few dermatologists in the area were not able to see her for 4-6 months. A relative recommended Rash Decisions and Dr. Marchand. She drives from her Dallas office to her Beaumont office a couple of days a month. Her website gave me a clear list of services up front, including the cost for a full body skin cancer check, which was what she needed. I was lucky enough to get an appointment for her the following weekend, when the Doctor happened to be in town. My sister has a very low tolerance for pain, but Dr. Marchand was very understanding and gentle. I feel like she took her time and was not rushed and fully explained every concern we had. She reassured us that the moles and brown spots were normal part of aging for some people. She removed the two areas her doctor's office was concerned about. They were sent to pathology to be checked further (with her insurance covering that part). My sister said she felt like she was in good hands the whole time and we were glad she didn't have to wait 4 or more months to be seen. We are so happy to have found Rash Decisions and highly recommend Dr. Marchand, especially If you don't want to wait 6 months and are concerned about skin cancer or you need to get in to see a dermatologist quickly, for any dermatology services. Her Beaumont office is next to Phelan Blvd., (away from all the IH-10 and US 69 construction) and is in a safe area, with easy parking. I explained I had to be in Beaumont in a Monday and that said they be open until 4 pm. I asked then to be placed on the "ok to go up" list (why Marceland feels she so special to have a private list is beyond me as well.) However when I arrived at 115, not only was I not on the list, but I was not permitted to go upstairs and purchase the expensive item I needed AND the office staff was IN THE OFFICE. UPDATE! I received a phone call from Dr. Marchand's office very apologetic for the mixup. I received erroneous information from someone on staff. The office made amends that greatly benefitted me and I am satisfied.

Ultra-modern and it's obvious someone spent a lot of time and effort (and $$!) sweating the details and the floor plan. It's a beautiful clinic and spa. My review really centers on their clinical aesthetician, licensed esthetic educator and massage therapist Abby Picou. I've used this lady a few times at her previous clinic and now at her new practice. The challenge with me and likely with a lot of guys is that there are so many various treatments. The processes are often foreign to many men and their names aren't normally a part of the average guy's everyday lexicon. I say that because I'm not a fussy guy about my looks so, like most men I thought these things were more for the 'pretty boy' types or those who visit hair salons. Not for the barbershop type of guy. And I'm definitely a flannel-shirt-wearing, barbershop type of guy. But I had this sagging area under my chin after I began working out more, and my face had started looking chapped and red all the time. It was just enough to make me curious when my buddy's wife told me about Abby Picou. At this point I've done two or three of the treatments she specializes in, (not many people are trained and certified to do the types of treatments Abby does.). I'm still not "pretty", nor do I want to me, but I look drastically different and younger. I don't go often but when I do, I don't tell anyone and within a week, people begin asking if I've been "working out" or "on vacation" or something. The dermatologist asked what I'd been doing so I guess I got extra points from him too. LOL! Wasn't sure where Abby went and was shy about asking her former practice. I'm so glad I've found her again and have already called to make an appointment. Amazing young woman, like a ray of sunshine on a white sandy beach with a cold beer. Congrats to Delatte Plastic Surgery & Skin Care Specialists and @stephen.delatte.7 for landing her!

If you have a medical issue do NOT visit this practice. My experience was extremely frustrating -…read moreand I don't even have any medicine to show for it all. The initial visit went by very quickly, but I thought nothing of it because my doctor acted like she heard me and understood what I needed. I left with a prescription for a pretty strong topical medicine and was told all I had to do was wait for it to come in. It stayed in processing for about a week and a half before it was rejected by my insurance. Called Walgreens, they told me I needed a pre authorization from my doctors. Called/left a message for my doctor, her nurse eventually told me that they HAD pre authorized, my insurance just rejected it outright and I had to check whether I was eligible. I called the insurance company's authorization offices. THEY claimed they literally had no record of preauthorization for these meds, and offered to literally fax the authorization form over to DCoA. I told them to do so. I spent a few weeks back and forth-ing between these two parties, both of them claiming that they had done their part. I got a renewed prescription for the meds - once again it stayed in processing for about a week-ish before getting rejected due to a lack of pre authorization. Finally I gave up and left a message for DCoA, telling them to just send me a prescription for meds that were less strong and more likely to be covered by my insurance (I was assuming I was in the wrong, somehow, and accounting for that). Take a wild guess what happened to that prescription. After that point I just didn't bother, I had a lot to deal with in my personal life and this was a chore. All throughout this I had to continually chase them down and ask what was up - it felt like I was running around in circles. Not once did I receive a follow up on their end in the form of a text, call, or email. I still don't have medication I desperately need. It's not like it's my insurance, either. I have never had issues with pre authorization for other skin medications (and the same plan...). It also makes no sense whatsoever for my insurance to wait one-to-two weeks and say they had received no pre authorization when the real problem is that it isn't covered at all. They'd obviously make a note of that. In essence, I paid for an exorbitantly expensive doctors visit and got... two months of frustration and disappointment. I don't think any of this was malicious, but I don't want to have to chase down someone who isn't doing their job. And y'all probably don't either. Please save yourselves the time and energy and book an appointment somewhere else.
