They actually have a Nurse Practitioner in charge. So the name, MedSpa = medical spa. They are probably the only local spa who offers IV infusions which you normally have to go to Houston for. The Myers infusion is awesome for fibromyalgia, and a shot of glutathione can be added. Some fibromyalgia patients come weekly and have gotten off prescription medications. They also offer cosmetic injectables, body contouring, spider vein treatment, tattoo removal, lash extensions, etc., and they are the only spa to offer the hydrafacial MD treatment. They actually sit and talk to you in depth to determine what is best for you in every aspect. The staff are professional and extremely friendly and attentive. I am now in the process of trying to go see a specialist in Houston because the Dr here don't seem to really want to listen to what I have to tell them. I have had so many test done on my eyes and asked him to get them from my other Dr in Las Vegas and he straightened out said no I don't need them it's just allergies. I left there broken hearted and with still infected eyes and when I told him I was out of the drops that normally help he just brushed it off. So my primary care Dr. Does listen and he sent a script in so I could get them. Maybe don't be so cocky and listen to your patients. Just take the time to act like you care.

I visited this facility early March 2020. Before all the news about covid-19 hit the USA. I told…read morethe nurse practitioner that I was short of breath, had a cough, low fever, fatigue, loss of taste and smell. She told me I had a virus to go home. No tests were needed. I asked if she could order a chest X-ray and if I could get tested for covid-19 - or at least the flu. I tried to tell her I had recently took a flight to Miami, Florida to see family - but she cut me off, saying: my symptoms were not consistent with covid-19 & that she was not going to "waste a test on me". My husband and I were stunned at her response! She made me feel as if I was "acting" or "seeking attention". It was a HORRIBLE experience! The worst one I have ever had - To feel that sick & be treated so poorly by a medical professional. It's not right!!! In the end, she did order a chest X-ray, but did not do any other tests. She smugly told me that the x-ray was clear, "as she knew it would be". I went to work the next few days - I'm a high school teacher. Four days later my husband had to rush me to the hospital b/c I could not breath. I tested positive for influenza A, influenza B, Epstein Barr - & COVID-19! I was sent to Houston and hospitalized immediately. My husband had to contact the school. By God's grace, none of my students tested positive for covid-19. Hindsight is 20/20. I should have questioned her... gone to Beaumont for another opinion. But I trusted her b/c she is a medical professional! I've debated writing this review. I live in Mauriceville. My children have grown up here & I love my small town. My PCP is in Orange, my dentist in Vidor. So I did not want to cause problems. However, the lady that treated me should be aware that she was dead wrong & that her negligence could have caused an unimaginable amount of repercussions!! I could have died, leaving my husband and children alone. I could have infected all of my 157 students. I could have infected my family, friends... So many things could have happened. If she was tired, she should have gone home! It is my hope that the correct people read this review & that steps are taken so that this situation NEVER happens again!!!
