What do u think about this-…read more My daughter has danced at this studio for 10 years now. Over time, my daughter has not only learned how to dance, but she has learned responsibility, time management, and the importance of "showing up." I do not sugar coat anything and can say that this studio is not perfect...but this is because none of them are. It is about finding the right fit for each dance family. All parents have their frustrations, at any studio. This studio, like so many others, has rules and policies in place for a reason. We are glad they do. Also find comfort in knowing they keep the best interest of our dance community top of mind.

As a long standing member of this dance studio community I feel compelled to share my perspective…read morein response to the recent one star review. We are a multiracial, interfaith and interabled family and we have always found an inclusive atmosphere. Every experience is different, but we have not encountered any instances of racial or religious insensitivity. I would be thoroughly surprised if we did. This does not reflect the identity or values of this studio. The dance family at this studio, which not only includes staff but also the fellow dance moms/dads, have always been helpful and compassionate despite the personal challenges faced by our family. It's disheartening to see such negativity towards a studio that is a second home for our daughter. My daughter has not only grown as a dancer but has developed a strong sense of confidence and resilience from being on a dance team. Any concerns or difficulties we have encountered along the way have been met with a willingness to listen. I urge readers to not allow one negative review to overshadow the positive impact this studio brings.

I credit Patrick for great teaching, his passion for music shines through him to her. Much to our surprise she even played at an open mic night that Band-Gig hosted. recently. I give Band-Gig rave reviews and recommend them to friends. The teachers are fantastic with kids, excellent teachers and great musicians. Our girls have a passion for music and practice without prompting. THANKS Band-Gig, Patrick, and Michael. Nick, you have fantastic teachers!

As an actor in the resident company during the summer, I had the amazing opportunity to live on the Priscilla Beach Theatre campus. I lived in the Farmhouse, which houses around nine people, a costume shop, costume storage, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a black box theatre. I felt like this was my home away from home during the summer; it kind of felt like my first year of college again when I lived in a dorm. You become really close with the people you live and work with - you form really special bonds. One of the really incredible things about being cast in A Chorus Line and A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum this summer were the directors I had the fortune of working with. Emily Maltby directed A Chorus Line and Ron Fassler directed Forum, and both of these directors helped me bring some of my best work out on the stage. They affirmed and encouraged their casts, and maintained an expectation of professionalism throughout the summer. If you're an actor looking for summer work, I couldn't recommend this company enough. You'll make friendships that last a lifetime, enjoy sunny days and starry nights at a beach that's a five minute walk away, and get paid to do what you love!

After the first six weeks of classes they started practicing the routine and then 75% of the time most of the girls stood around watching other girls practice their parts of the routine for the recital. My daughter, as well as other girls there I know, got very bored and did not even want to go to class. She had the size of this class way to big! I was told there would not be that many in the class. And let me tell you about the obscenely long FOUR hour recital she scheduled. What other dance studio does that??? That was brutal on many levels for both students and the family members there watching. Several people left after intermision, which at a normal studio would have actually been the time a recital would end. Not to mention the unorganization of it. She also overbooked seating for that auditorium. So Bridget threw some folding chairs in the aisle, in front of a safety bar,so not only were we in awful folding chairs but also could not see without looking under or over the bar. We paid $120 for folding chair seats in the isle with an obstructed view. Had to put your head under or stand up to see kids on stage. Overall I have to say I was very dissapointed with Bridget's on several levels. I would NEVER recommend anyone go to that dance studio. I will be trying Amy's Dance in Braintree.
