When we entered a few locals were at the check out counter passing the time, discussing the news and welfare of other locals, it seemed. They all turned in our direction and greeted us before continuing to chat with each other. The store carried some fresh produce, snacks, canned goods, spices, household items of various sorts, Case knives, boots, jeans, outdoor wear, including Carhartt and other popular outfitting brands. Oh, and lottery tickets and ice cream. The employees were very nice to us. There were numerous choices of Mayfair ice cream to choose from, and Roy and I each got a cup of ice cream. There were at least 5 employees (possibly more) and they followed us around the store the entire time. We're from out of town so we can only assume they must have a lot of stealing that goes on at this store thus the need for all those employees :) They could invest in security tags or only put one shoe in the box and leave the other in the back room for one of the many employees to retrieve. Maybe this would discourage thieves from stealing and create a more pleasant shopping experience.

I like this store because it has so many types of shoes to chose from. Work shoes, evening shoes, tennis shoes and more for men, women and kids. Lots of brands from Guess to Sketchers to Nike to others I've never heard of. Plus they have a nice selection of purses ladies. Quality and prices that won't terrify you. Overall the prices weren't bad with most name brands about $10-$15 less than what I see elsewhere so for example a pair of Sketchers is normally around $60 but here they were $45. But don't pass up the clearance just outside the front door. This is where they put the shoes that have limited sizes left. Get a good deal before you ever get in the door.
