I didn't think we had a great store like that around, was going to try brands I liked that I knew they carried. I was so wrong! This place was far and above my expectations and exactly what the article mentioned. I spoke to a gal that was extremely knowledgeable about the two brands (Hoka and Brooks) that I was interested in. I explained what I wanted/needed, she made a few recommendations. I made the selections and she brought out several pairs of each. She had me sit and actually put the shoes on my feet! Made sure they were the proper fit, laced them up and had me walk around the store. It was incredible, I was over the moon with the store/clerk and the shoes were epic. It has been 4 months and the shoes rocked the 5k and are now my daily shoes.

My…read moreelderly mother entered first and had an unpleasant encounter with the sales woman before I entered. She didn't tell me about it until later and I am writing this review on her behalf. When she asked for help from the woman, the woman was very curt and rude, as if she did not want to be bothered. It wasn't until my mother mentioned to her that she had previously purchased two pairs of shoes, that the woman's attitude softened. My mother's feeling was that perhaps the woman judged the way she looked and thought she could not afford the shoes. In any case, I don't think it's nice or wise to treat any customer like this. I was wanting to buy some shoes, but they do not carry sizes smaller than 6 and now I'm glad I did not. An unfortunate experience all the way around.

Dicks sporting goods. More like Dicks…read more ;) This store sucks, mainly because I went in with my friend Nathaniel, we were looking for golfing putters. We asked around and the employees ignored us and acted as if we were just there to work on something. We tried and tried to get their attention but they kept their conversation in a group circle formation. We eventually told them we were leaving and they tried to assist us as a joke, we ignored them as they previously did us. Dicks
