I needed the sole plates of an old pair of Sketchers re-glued to make them functional again. I am happy with the results because they are the most comfortable pair I wear. Don's Shoe Repair also has Red Wing shoes and men's quality belts that will last for years. And recommended some brands I wasn't aware of. One of the pairs of Xelero shoes ending up being very uncomfortable and I returned that pair several days later. The Xelero was very comfortable and stable. However, one of the shoe's "tongues" was very uncomfortable. It probably would not affect most people, but I have had issues which affect my ability to walk. I returned the Xelero for a different style of the same brand that worked better for my needs. Josh spent a lot of time assisting me finding the right shoe and fit. I am very satisfied with the service and highly recommend The Heel shoe store for anyone, but especially for anyone who has foot, knee or hip issues.

Someplace that writes out probably thousands of checks a week. I don't have a check number.... it's NOT MY account. The money wasn't redeposited into my account.... meaning THEY CASHED THE CHECK. They cashed the check and NEVER CREDITED my account. Now, when I called them to take care of it, they refuse. They refuse bc I don't have a check number.... they won't let me talk to their accountant, who obviously cashed the damn check. The check with MY NAME AS THE CREDITOR! Yet, never bothered to credit my account.....

After 10 days, I called and they had no record of my clothes! They couldn't find my name or my number in their system! When I went in, first they told me I was too early, that alterations always took 2 weeks (not what they told me when I dropped them off), then they couldn't find my account, but found my wife's, but no record of clothes! They told me I had to go to their corporate office to get help! After explaining that I gave them the items on Lime Kiln and that I expected Lime Kiln to find them, they agreed to look further. Finally, they found my clothes! Well, 2 out of 3 of my items! The problem? They took my long last name, cut it in half and entered the second half as my last name and the first half as my first name. So "Greenlight" became "Light, Green"!! No wonder they couldn't find me in their system. Also, they butchered my phone number so they couldn't find me by phone. Finally, about the 3rd item. They decided it was a minor repair so gave it a lower priority so it wasn't ready with the other 2, forcing me to make a second trip. The final result? at 7:00AM the next morning they called me, waking me up!, to tell me my 3rd item was ready! Overall, they pretty much fouled up everything they could foul up in their interaction with me!

I have had multiple negative encounters, primarily on pricing, with Lindeman's but I had a coupon right? What I had calculated to be about $11 with tax came to $68.37 after a 15% discount!!!!. They identified it as down comforter and dry cleaned it. When I said I shouldn't have to pay for their mistake they said "someone" failed to tell me at drop off that household goods like quilts and blankets can't be laundered, only towels and such. Had I been informed of this I would've just gone to the laundromat. To the DePere shop's credit, the clerk called to get some resolution but the Monroe shop said no changes. I should have just left it there for them to donate and bought a new quilt but you know how some things just belong. So figuring this is their mistake I called the Monroe shop when I got home. They now offered to "credit" me the difference between down and cotton. Guess how much? $35? $30? Nope. The credit was $9.75. They kept asking how they could make it right. To me it was $57 in cash back. I decided writing up this review was more valuable for others than the $10 back to me. Lindeman's has been around forever and the complaints I see out here and the low ratings won't likely change their making a fortune. What I can do is recommend you take your dry cleaning to One Hour Martinizing at 1233 S Military Ave in Green Bay. They have a 4.6 rating and used to have a customer loyalty discount of 20%. And maybe I'll send a copy of this to the Better Business Bureau..... I gave one star only because I had to to get this posted.
