These guys aren't good at luggage repairs. I won't use them again. It took them 4 months to fix a bag that I dropped off, and never even bothered to call me once! I went in recently to ask them where my bag was and of course they had no idea. Then, they called me last week to tell me my bag was there and I needed to come get it right away! I'm pretty sure they had lost it for a while and didn't want to say anything. I go to get my bad today and the repair is terrible! It looks like a 3rd grader did it - they spilled glue or something else all over my bag. They promised me a heavy duty nylon patch (my damage is in a high wear area) and they basically glued some faux leather piece on that is already falling off! And to top it all off, they had the nerve to charge me the full $90 dollars for the repair. What a rip off! Don't come here for repairs! read more

I brought in a pair of $10 shoes for a simple gluing job, and they quoted me $220 for the service. This is outrageous! They seem to be exploiting the people in Summerlin. They responded to my review saying they do jobs in the order that they come in as an explanation for my dissatisfaction with the 3 weeks they had my purse strap without doing the simple thing of shortening it. I came during business hours at about 320. The doors are locked and there were two people one eating on one side of the counter, and the other on the other side working. When I knocked they didn't even look at me. After a minute or so, the kid who was eating reluctantly opened the door and asked me what I wanted. I showed him the elastic on my shoes. He said that they would have to be replaced. To the tune of $55. I said no thanks and left. First off, I never write bad reviews, but the service at this establishment cannot go with WARNING potential customers. I dropped off a badly damaged sandal in late May and was told by Lorriana at the counter that they will call me with the quote to see if they could fix it and how much it would be. I waited for 3 weeks and heard nothing so I called. She said that she would look for the email and call me right back. I heard nothing and waited another week and called back. This time she said the same thing but did actually call me back that day and quoted me $130 to repair it. I agreed and gave her my credit card number for the 50% deposit they require. I was informed it would take between 4-6 weeks to repair the shoe at that time. Three weeks passed and Lorraina calls me and tells me that they made a mistake and that it will actually be $495. I was expecting a level of professionalism from her and a modicum of remorse over my experience so far. That was way too much to expect as she had a huge chip on her shoulder and was extremely rude in both her tone and in the options she offered. Any time I have had a business take so long and/or make such an egregious mistake, they've offered some sort of remedy to apologize for the inconvenience and mistake. Not at this establishment! I received no offer to make up for any inconvenience for the length of time that they'd had the shoe already and for misquoting me. As a small business owner myself, I understand the impact of offering a discount but also get the goodwill and loyalty that comes with acknowledging your mistake and wanting to do something to make the customer feel both heard and valued. That is certainly not the case with this organization. After being told there was nothing she or anyone could do, she hung up on me. I called back and asked for the owner's name. I was told Jerry Guederian but that he is basically retired and older and doesn't really get involved in the business any more. I was given the name of their Director of Operations, Gina, upon calling their alternate number and was told that she would call me back that day. I told the woman with whom I spoke at the other location what had happened and explained my frustration from both the service and the way I was treated by Lorraina and that I'd be writing a negative review but that I wanted to give the owner the opportunity to know the story before I did so. She reassured me the Gina would call me right back. I received no call from Gina, Director of Operations, so I called back 24 hours later. When I got her on the phone, I asked her if she were familiar with the situation already. She indicated that she was and was unapologetic, cold and proceeded to tell me that there was nothing that she could do. I asked her if, as the Director of Operations, she felt that this was handled well. She simply chalked it up to a mistake made by someone who is in training and that mistakes happen. I agreed that mistakes absolutely happen but this was not one mistake. This was an absolute FAILURE of operations...her job based on her title. I asked her about which mistake was she referring: the 3 weeks I waited for a quote before having to call myself only to be told that she would get right back to me and not, or having to call back a week later to get a quote, or being quoted 1/4 of what they should have, or that no one in the organization identified the misquote for another 3 weeks, or the lack of professionalism of being hung up on by their employee when I expressed my frustration over the entire process and asked to speak to the owner? Gina did not take well to my questioning the competency of the operation and informed me that it is not her job to kiss people's asses. I told her that I had wanted to give the owner, or if she were the one in charge, her, the opportunity to make this right before posting anything about the incident online. Unfortunately, I see where the employees get their people skills and customer service from with Gina at the helm. She told me to go ahead and post whatever I wanted and that they can respond. So, my objective in this review is two-fold. I have no idea what kind of work they actually do since it took 2 months to get a misquote and then a new quote 4 times more but if their customer service and basic ability to run a business is any indicator....STEER CLEAR OF THIS STORE! Secondly, to the owner, I want you to know what is going on at a store that, it appears from researching about online, you've built over 50 years. Love this place! The zipper to my Ugg boot was not working anymore, so I've been unable to wear it. I got a quote on Yelp for the cost to fix it and chose this place. They have 2 locations, and I chose this one- in Summerlin. Perfect! I came in with my boots and they fixed it in less than 5 minutes. I explained that the previous clerk quoted a different price and she rudely applied "she is new!" Good Customer service is a thing of the past!!! I have used shoe lab for many years and they are by far the best is West Vegas. I have moved to Henderson and still drive to Summerlin to use their services. With many designer shoes and bags I would trust no one else to service them. When I purchase new shoes I always have them add rubber soles for better wear and to prevent slipping on the floor. Horrible customer service that frequently over promises and under delivers. I brought in a shirt for repair on 10/17/23 and paid the quoted $45 in full using a bank debit card. The representative quoted me a 4-6 week turnaround time. On 12/19/2023 I still had heard nothing after 8 weeks, so I called them to follow up. On 12/20/2023 they called me back to say they could not do the repair, so I could come get my shirt. It took them over 8 weeks to determine they could not do the repair, but that is not the worst part. They refuse to refund the $45 paid because it has to be a store credit. This is against Nevada law, but they do not seem concerned with violating laws, so I will be telling everyone I know about my experience and filing formal complaints with the Nevada state attorney general. I would not do business with these people because their refund policy is unethical and their service is abysmal. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT BRING LOUBOUTINS HERE. I brought in a brand new pair of Louboutins straight from Sak's literally in the box and the ancient old man absolutely destroyed them. He scratched the actual leather of the shoe and the protector pads were completely uneven and covered in gunk. I brought in another pair with them to get the same jelly red protectors put on and the work on those was awful as well. They rushed my order and used men's protectors instead of waiting to get the correct ones in stock. I refused to accept them in that condition so the lady at the counter said she would send them to the warehouse to be fixed. I picked them up today and you can still see the "fixed" damage on the brand new pair that were in absolutely perfect condition before that incompetent old man got his hands on them. She refused to give me my money back or any sort of compensation and instead said she could call their warehouse manager and get me a 10% discount for next time I come back... as if I would ever come back to a place that ruined a brand new pair of $1000 shoes. If i could give this place 100 stars I would!!!!! Seriously the best in Vegas. I have been taking shoes etc there for years to get fixed but this past month I took my Light Beige All Saints leather backpack to them to see if they could fix it because my dark denim had stained a good portion of the bag. They looked at the bag and said they would do the best they could and said they would call me when its ready. Fast forward a month, I went to pick it up yesterday and it looks BRAND SPANKING NEW!!! I am CONVINCED they bought a new one because there is not a stain or scratch on the bag. I was SHOCKED. I knew Shoe Lab was good (I take all my high end shoes and purses to them) but I didn't know they were THAT good. I should have taken a before and after photo to show how impressive their work was but I didn't think about it. Some of the other reviewers are complaining that they are slow or take longer than other places - well quality work takes quality time. I am updating my review from 7 months ago. I go here in request of my boss, not for my own personal use. The last two times I have been at the location has made up for that one horrible experience I had. I believe they got a new staff which is great because they are very friendly and helpful. Every time I call, my questions are answered in a respectful and honest tone. They did a wonderful job fixing a couple of baseball gloves, as well as some shoes. They have great hours and can pretty much do anything. Do not hesitate to give them a call and see if they can help you. If they do have to order certain materials it will take longer for the repairs so allow enough time before you need the item. Words cannot describe the repair and refurbish performed on my Bottega Venetta loafers. The leather in the toe had about about a 3" rip which wasn't at the seam. I took them back to Bottega where they took pictures to email to their seamstress in Italy. Feedback was they were beyond repair. Mind you these are $800 shoes and a few years old so it came as no surprise that they wanted to sell me a new pair. I took them to the Shoe Lab and without hesitation was assured they could bring them back to life. Actually I wasn't hopeful given where and how the rip laid within the toe. When I arrived to inspect them I was astonished at what I saw. These shoes look like they just arrived from the factory in italy! I called multiple times to see when my shoes would be repaired. They kept saying "that day"... and then nothing. Finally, I called and said I was just going to take them somewhere else. Then they called back and said the repair was complete. When I showed up, they actually tried to give me a different pair of shoes! Then they insisted that I was wrong, and these were my shoes. Although they did the work they were paid to do, it was not timely and there was a lack of communication. I dropped my Danskos off to be stretched on a Monday, which normally only takes a few days. A young brown headed female condescendingly called me sweetie about 5 times. ?? I'm pretty sure I'm a lot older than her. She only looked at me once and that was when she greeted me. I was told to pay full price up front, which is suspicious, but I hesitantly did. She ran my card, handed me my receipt, and said, "thanks!", all without looking at me or informing me when when I might expect my shoes or if I would be notified when they were ready. So I asked roughly how long they might take and she said about 5 days, but possibly just under a week ???? She began to walk away and I then had to ask, "Ummmm, will someone call me or should I just come in...?" She informed me she would call me when ready. She never did. By Wednesday the following week (9 days later) I hadn't heard anything so I called to check on my shoes. An older gentleman with a foreign accent answered and said he would research it and call me right back. He never did. The next day I drove to the store after work and was told that my shoes were not there but at a warehouse, and would be ready the next day (11 days later) "around 5pm". I asked if he was sure bc I didn't want to waste another trip, especially bc they close at 6. He said he would call me the next day when they were ready for pickup. He didn't call me. I was FINALLY called on Saturday notifying me that my shoes were now ready for pickup. 12 DAYS LATER.
