I purchased these on 5/29/25 and did not wear the shoes until our first day of vacation on 6/14/25. By the time I returned from shopping that day my feet were raw due to the excessive movement in the shoe as they are too big. I just got back from vacation on 6/22/25 and could not return the shoes before that time as I was out of town. When I called they said there was nothing they could do as far as a return since I was outside the 20 day return policy. Even though I was not in town to return them I asked...no, sorry, that is the policy. I will not be returning to Roberts and am now out of $150 for a pair of shoes that I cannot wear! So much for personalized service. After a 2nd call to Roberts and speaking to the person who sold me the shoes, they agreed to let me return my shoes and order me a new pair. This is the kind of service that will keep me coming back! Thanks for making things right!

They're even cuter." She led me to a different, even cuter pair of Hello Kitty shoes :') She seemed to genuinely just want to chat and show us things we'd like, and we ended up spending a lot of time in the store looking around at things. She would check in on us occasionally, letting us know about sales including items we were looking at and recommending similar items. She and the other guy working were super sweet and personable. She had the cutest afro puffs and Christmas sweater, and I wish I had caught her name especially. Generally, this store is pretty expensive, thus the lower review, but they had some pretty good sales yesterday and really great employees.

I paid over $50 for them which I think is expensive for a pair of kids shoes. After 3 months, there were holes where the seams came unsewed and several holes where the netting pulled away from the stiching. I took them back with the receipt asking for an exchange. They were very unwilling to accept that this was not typical even when we spoke to the Manager. The most they offered was 20% off. I purchased several pairs of tennis shoes from Kmart for $19.99 and they are perfect. I will never purchase another pair of shoes from Shoe Carnival because they obviously do not stand behind their product. I have a pair of tennis shoes that are are four years old and still perfect.

As a medical student here, it's great to be able to walk in and buy merchandise specific to our program as gifts for my family and friends. I feel their prices are fair considering the high quality of the items, and they are generous in working with special sales-related fundraisers like the Class of 2021's scholarship fundraiser. Given the size of the place, it can sometimes be a challenge to find what you're looking for, though the staff is always quick to offer their help in hunting down that specific item you need.
