After visiting one dentist and being told the bridge needed to be removed and implants placed - period - I knew I needed to keep searching. When I told this dentist I did not want implants he shuffled me off to see a denturist - because making a denture would be beneath his superior skills - I suppose? The denturist quoted a fee that was $600.+ above the actual BC recommended fee guide for DENTISTS. This was not acceptable to me. Then, a friend recommended the Dundarave Dental Clinic, and I found Dr. Tina Dhillon. She saw me immediately, and, low and behold, gave me 3 options, all of which she would complete herself, no shuffling me off to other providers. I have worked in the dental field for 45 years. My dentist was retired and this is why I was searching for an honest, talented dentist. There are always options, beginning with the least ideal and least expensive to the most ideal and most expensive and, sometimes, there is an option in between. Which is what I chose, the in-between. Dr. Dhillon completed my fairly extensive treatment with such skill that, after every visit, I was thanking my lucky stars for finding her. She carefully cut out the bridge leaving part of it intact - amazing!!! No one previously had suggested they could save part of my existing bridge! She then extracted the "culprit" tooth - with such finesse that my post-op recovery was painless with absolutely no swelling. Now that's a gentle dentist! After a 6 week recovery period, Dr. Dhillon made my tiny (2 teeth) partial denture to fit the space which would help retain the integrity of my lower arch and restore my "chewing" function. This little denture cost $700. less than the denturist had quoted! Next on my agenda is a thorough exam and hygiene appointment with this amazing team. Trust is such an important issue in a dentist-patient relationship and I know I can trust Dr. Dhillon in the future with whatever she recommends I may need to retain my smile. And a big shout-out to Diane, her extremely skilled and friendly certified dental assistant, and to Novi her efficient and kind receptionist. You have one helluva team Dr. Dhillon! After my many years working with dentists to foster and build great teams that delivered the best patient care, you can take that compliment to the bank! If you are looking for a new dentist or, you have a concern about treatment that has been recommended, then you need to see Dr. Tina Dhillon and her team! You won't regret it. The best they could do was offer her a consultation with a dentist in just over 3 weeks??!!! and that's just a consultation. Less than 24hrs later I had her booked in with an Oral Surgeon in NV and she had an appointment to have her wisdom teeth out the next day. Save your money and your time and do your research. There are a number of honest and reputable dentist out there for the right reasons. They also offered 'botox' to my 19 year old daughter if she ever wanted it!!

I was a patient for 11 years, until January 2015, went in for regular cleanings and check ups throughout each year and paid a lot of money for their services - both he and his assistant "overlooked" a dental condition that should have easily been noted years before it reached a critical stage. Neither he, nor his assistant, advised me about the condition nor that it had reached a critical point, with irreversible bone damage . . .When they finally noticed the condition - at a point where it couldn't be ignored - neither had the integrity to honestly advise me what the condition was, or how serious it had become. I am now in the care of a specialist, the cost to remedy this condition they both overlooked is going to be extremely painful and costly. Needless to say I have never returned to this office, have lost trust in his and his assistant's dental skills and integrity.
