However, do not call on this marina's…read moreservices the problem is not that they are good at anything but are bad at everything from my experience - They do not understand Webasto heaters and say that units are unusually design - They do not understand how to install Max props and in particular are confused with pitch value and the difference between left and right handed props. - They do not know how to change a hose on a manual bilge pump. - They do not know how to properly install sanitary hoses in a reasonable time. - They do not know how to install seacocks - They very seldom call back or answer emails - They make appointments and forget clients are coming. - They invoice for replacement parts they themselves have lost and invoice time taken to replace said parts. - All of this is experienced with last service manager - New service manager does not get confused with facts and bases his invoice without paying any attention to actual work completed successfully.

Unfortunately they do not employ anyone competent at providing marine services. Six months after getting about $6,000 worth of work done to my boat I'm looking at spending at least that to repair the stuff they allegedly fixed. It astounds me that these people are still in business. By all means park your boat at Hartge Yacht Harbour but if you need any work done to your boat look elsewhere. This should be pretty easy advice to follow as they never return phone calls, respond to emails and you will never get a written quote out of them.

We received a call this morning the boat is not available due to engine failure. Ok these things happen. But the fact that they knew a week ago and only called us a day before our scheduled rental is extremely frustrating. When asked why they waited so long, we were told that they thought someone had told us. Huh, then why did you call us to tell us today if you had thought someone had already told us? It's impossible to get a rental in July on a Saturday the day before, so now our plans are shot. We would have just liked to have been given some consideration when they knew the boat wasn't going to be up and running. We understand that things happen, but advance communication would have been nice and have shown a courteous customer service. We have rented from them once before and the pontoon boat that we rented was very nice. We couldn't take it out on the bay due to a Coast Guard advisory so we took it up and down the creek for a slight discount, which we had to make an argument for. I mean we could walk faster than we sailed the boat and we didn't even use as much gas as we would have...long story short...it was an argument to get a SLIGHT discount and they had an attitude with us as well. All in all, beautiful boats, gorgeous area....but the customer service needs to be worked on and unfortunately that is what is remembered. Just be KIND.

Our bridal party and family stayed at the Inn - the quality, uniqueness and cleanliness of the rooms exceeded my expectations! We used both marina locations for our event, Haven Harour Marina and Haven Harbour South, just a couple miles apart, and the grounds are beautiful and well kept at both. The spectacular sunsets during the rehearsal and reception were just exceptional! For anyone who has ever wanted to enjoy their special day in a bay setting, Haven Harbour Marina on the Chesapeake is a great option!
