It's a must do! No kidding. It's a 2 hour event with three sunken boats to see. Very smooth and comfortable ride. Informative and fun. You see a very old wooden lighthouse as well as some very nice rock shoreline. Definitely got to do this.

The Shipwreck Tour was such a cool experience! It was amazing very kid friendly tour--my boys were so happy to able to be up and walking around to see the views from different spots on the boat. Our whole family enjoyed seeing and hearing about the shipwrecks and the pictured rocks. I HIGHLY recommend this tour!

Maybe a little let down that we only saw two "shipwrecks" but it still was pretty cool. One of the wrecks was (pretty much) a full ship only about six feet below the glass windows! The boat ride itself on such a nice day made it worth the trip. The area of Munising Bay is Beautiful. Narration was maybe a "B" and the two guides didn't interact much with the customers. In fact every time I walked by the captions room the narrater was just sitting in her phone. (She was all smiles with the tip jar after however!) I little excitement could have made this a bit better. But, I can't say I didn't enjoy a couple of hours out on Lake Superior.

Amazing tour! We were impressed with the knowledge and friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness and comfort and design of the boat (lots of room to see in the glassbottom area, it was large enough for everyone.) We had fun learning about the history of Lake Superior, Great Lakes shipping and seeing the amazing sites so close up. Thank you!!

If you like shipwrecks (and really, who doesn't?), you are gonna LOVE this tour. It's not every day that you get to see an intact ship that sank in the 1800's. The glass bottom is clean and clear, you can see everything clearly, and they do a great job of explaining what you're looking at. Well worth the money!

Amazing views and narrative. Felt safe the whole time and great views. People were very helpful.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff on the boat and in the gift shop. Beautiful scenery. Time flew by. We took the morning cruise and I would love to take the sunset cruise next time.

It was a fun boat ride with viewing ship wreaks . They also go by painted rocks and a lighthouse. The boat, itself is really amazing

The Captain and Crew were fantastic. The ship wrecks were disappointing. They were just random old lumber on the lake floor.

The captain and crew were very informative, and we appreciated getting super close up to Pictured Rocks, as well.

The tour was amazing, they are very knowledgeable and make the trip fun. The prices are very reasonable, please ask, they can accommodate group, children, and senior discounts. All safety gear, and transportation to and from launch site are included. This is a lifetime opportunity, these groups are more intimate, our group consisted of seven boats. ENJOY

I reserved my experience on their website and received a personal confirmation from Raya via text message in less than 15 minutes. Raya answered all my questions in advance of the event quickly and with great detail. Yooper Yachts was the only company I found that allowed for single kayaks, as I was booking alone and didn't want to be paired with a stranger. My tour was run by Rick and Bob (father/son team) were super friendly and helpful. My group was 7 total kayakers (two tandem kayaks and three singles). We all met at the meet point, and after a short drive and set of instructions, we were in the water. The tour was fantastic. Rick provided a personal touch...learning everyone's names and getting to know them and providing interesting stories about the rock formations and area insights. Rick and Bob could not be nicer and more genuine. They gave us the freedom to roam and explore a bit on our own but were always close by if we needed them. They provided all of the required equipment, which was in great shape. They also had Dramamine available if we needed it. Honestly this is the best experience I could have hoped for in a tour of Pictured Rocks. You can really count on Yooper Yachts, they are very dependable and are a fun outfit!
