Yes I'm a shipleys fan! If in Texas and wanting a donut this is my favorite spot. I like better than Voodoo, don't get me wrong, voodoo is awesome and a great stop. And their donuts are extraordinary. Shipleys is your everyday, wide variety of just great donuts. I give five stars for consistency quality and friendly. Not always the very best donut but always good. Thanks ship! read more

Definitely a "mom and pop" gem! Whenever I didn't have the time (or budget) to visit my fantastic friends down the way at Mugs I'd stop here! Quality AND quantity collide which always makes me a happy foodie. This is the perfect place to load up for a road trip, kids game, or even for your office. The pastries and breakfast sandwiches are always a sure thing! I'm a simple morning girl so my picks are ham or turkey egg n cheese croissant. Glazed doughnut. Koloches. Cinnamon rolls. Looking to try something but a little nervous? Do it! The price point is super affordable so you won't feel so bad if it doesn't fit your fancy. This place is worth a stop. Let's keep the local spots humping! read more

Donuts are good. Service was unfriendly. Sausage and cheese kalache was a hot dog with sprinkle of cheese

Donuts are fresh! We come from Little Rock because these are superior than anything offered downtown. I enjoy cake donuts specifically; they have never let me down. Always fresh, tasty, soft, moist, delicious! Occasionally I'll have a sausage croissant droollll- so good! read more

Now called Paul's Donuts, this is a great retro spot for donuts and other delicious baked goods. Conveniently located off the highway if you're just passing through Little Rock. Recommend the Old Fashioned and Cinnamon Sugar style donuts. read more

This definitely isn't a Shipley's Donuts. They have an excellent variety of donuts, breakfast sandwiches, and sausage rolls. They even have French Crullers if that's your thing. The drive thru gets pretty busy on the weekends but they handle it well. I usually go in and order and sit at one of the tables. The staff is friendly and patient while you decide what donuts you'd like. Tried a bacon/egg/cheese croissant sandwich today and it was terrific. If you like great donuts and a wide variety of different types and flavors, this is the place. read more

This place just happened to be conveniently located, and I needed coffee on my way to my client site, I decided to stop by this place. I was kinda skeptical when they asked me if I wanted my sausage roll warmed and they popped in the microwave. But what came out was this great morning pastry that had the perfect flaky gooey but not mushy perfect consistency. The coffee was your run of the mill donut shop coffee, but that went completely ignored, because the stuff was so good. Having wasted my first day in town going to a badly laid out Starbucks, I went for the next two consecutive days, buy two pastries each day. The glazed donuts were perfect - it wasn't overly sweet like Krispy Kreme, yet had the same melt in your mouth consistency. The biscuits were flaky without falling apart. So despite the crowded parking lot (being across the street from the high school) and busy street traffic in the morning, this place is a must go. I'm so looking forward to coming back to Little Rock. And you'll rarely hear that from anyone from LA LA land. read more

When we first moved to Little Rock we lived in a little house behind this Shipley donuts and my mom, Janice Lynne McDonald Penney, would bring me here for a donut. I thought the man behind the counter, Waitey, gave me free donuts cuz I was such a cutie... But I found out later that she paid for most of them. read more

Shipley Do-Nuts - a box of donuts - Donuts Near Me - North Little Rock, Arkansas

Ugh, what a dump this place was! Not in a good part of town either. I planned to have a few donuts and a coffee while surfing Facebook for a bit. They had no A/C or at least it wasn't on! Very little donut selection at 10:00 on a Saturday morning! Wasn't wild about the warm glazed donut either. Somewhat doughy, not much flavor either. A warm Krispy Kreme beats it 100%! read more

This is my go-to place for office donuts. I love the service and according to the folks who chow down on these delicious little bits of fried dough, they are superb! I recommend you give 'em a go whenever you want donuts. read more

Great breakfast, sweet genuine staff and croissants like you would expect them in Paris.

I go to school right by it, a lot of the kids go there in the morning and the lines are incredibly long, but they handle it well. I'm not in line for more than three minutes ever and there could be at least five groups of people in front of me. The owners are extremely kind and it incredibly sweet. The always make me smile. It is in a bad part of town though. I enjoy it, I personally I don't have any problems with the lines, the crowd (in the morning and afternoon) but I know some may disagree so I'm only giving it 4 stars. The owners are Asian, and can be hard to understand sometimes because of their accents, but it's not bad unless you're stupid enough to not try and figure it out. The food is amazing, doughy and I'm personally a huge fan of the coffee. Seriously recommend it. Sorry this was SL long I just love it. read more
