This Shipleys is located in a small plaza that also has other restaurants that are unique compared to so many repetitive items in the area. There's plenty of parking. It's never super busy and they have a pretty decent selection of donuts. They also have kolaches which I had never heard of before, but it's like almost like a pretzel dog of some sort. Either way, I was here for donuts and I purchased about a half a dozen. There's no specials or anything you pay for them individually and they're priced a little bit higher than you would a regular mom and pop donut shop, which they're really aren't any anywhere in the area. They're still better than some of the other outrageous donut shops around that cater to trendy BS donuts with stale cereal on top or just junk, or overly large. It might be the economy, or it might be their decision, but it was still pretty pricey for what it is- donuts. I did like that they had old-fashioned, crullers, and other types of donuts that you just don't see all the time anymore. read more

Went here bc of the location since it's on my way to work. Service was rushed (even though no one else was behind me) and a bit standoffish. Also really really expensive. Would rather go support a mom and pop and drive out of the way for better service and quality. The donuts tasted stale and old. I was bringing them to work and felt a bit embarrassed bringing them because I opened the box after and it was all squished together oddly. read more

I have been wanting to try this place since I first saw it and was excited. Came here right before 6am to grab donuts for work and at that time there was no line but also a select few of donuts to choose from. Thankfully they just finished making the blueberry cake donuts, my favorite kind and they were nice and warm! I also ordered donut holes and she asked me if wanted mixed bag or just one flavor. I never knew there was more than one flavor of donut holes so I chose the mixed bag and it was amazing! The chocolate donut holes were mt favorite. If you have a specific donut you want I'd recommend coming in later so they have a larger selection. And this place is pricey, I got a dozen, half dozen and donut holes which cost me over $40 so keep that in mind. Overall I liked the donuts and would come back. read more

Purposely giving three stars so this doesn't appear just to be a mindless review. We've been coming for three years and the donuts have gotten smaller and smaller and worse and worse. The last two times their glazed buttermilk was equivalent in size to the mini Krispy Kreme you buy at the grocery store that look like toys. Friendly staff. Good service. Lowest quality donut I've had ever. And that's not hyperbole. They didn't start that way. read more

Came here this morning about 30 minutes after they opened. I sat in the drive-thru for around 10 minutes with no response at all. Ended up having to go inside, where the same person wearing a headset helped me. After paying, the tip screen came up and they just stood there watching, which made things awkward. I didn't tip. On the positive side, the donuts themselves are amazing -- easily the best donuts in the Springs. Also, if you write a review you get two free glazed donuts, so that's a plus. Great donuts, but the service experience could definitely be better. Ambiance is pretty cool since it's just red and white but could do better in all thank you. read more

The mochinut is designed to not have a center so there isn't much to eat. This is a delightful and immersive piece that captures the heart of a donut shop perfectly. The rich sensory details--warm lighting, sugary aromas, and the comforting hum of morning routines--create a vivid and inviting atmosphere. The tone is cozy, uplifting, and nostalgic, making readers feel instantly at home. Each sentence flows smoothly, painting a scene full of warmth, sweetness, and quiet joy. delicious doughnuts. Service was great and they were very respectful. delight for any pastry lover! The moment you walk in, the warm aroma of freshly baked doughnuts wraps around you. Each bite is perfectly balanced -- crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy inside. Their maple bacon and crème brûlée doughnuts are absolute standouts, but even the classic glazed is next-level. The staff is friendly, the shop is spotless, and the coffee pairs perfectly. A cozy, cheerful spot that turns an ordinary morning into something special. read more

I had heard that Shipley's makes a really good donut, so I stopped into purchase a couple for a snack. I was not disappointed by the product at all. And the crew definitely embraces a can do spirit.! I would definitely recommend them for anyone who likes a good donut and a fair price. Especially for people, who are on a fixed budget. Which includes myself and my other retired friends. read more

Shipley Do-Nuts is a solid choice for classic, no-frills donuts. Their glazed donuts are light, fluffy, and perfectly sweet, while the kolaches are a great savory option. The variety is decent, and the freshness is usually on point. Service is quick, though it can get busy during peak hours. If you're after traditional, well-made donuts, Shipley won't disappoint. read more

We planned on getting one donut each and coffee snd left with 7! The donuts are all beautiful and have delicious flavors- def NOT your grocery store variety! We had a blueberry streusel, bacon maple bar, Andes mint/ chocolate cake donut, raspberry filled, Bavarian cream maple, Carmel apple pie, and a peanut butter cup topped glaze- we cut them all up and shared between 4 of us. All fine and rave reviews!! The young man helping us was friendly and had great suggestions and was super patient with us - took us a bit to decide! If you're near this shop - just go! Treat yourself!! Oh the coffee was yum too ! We bought a bag to bring home! And it's a Veteran Owned business!!

As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a counter full of creative, over-the-top donuts in just about every flavor you can imagine. There really is something for everyone. I'm not a fan of overly sweet desserts, so I kept it simple with a glazed donut and a strawberry cake donut to pair with my coffee. The glazed donut was enormous, light, and fluffy without being overly sweet. It paired perfectly with my cold brew. Move over, Krispy Kreme, you don't have a dog in this fight! The next morning, I enjoyed the strawberry cake donut with a hot cup of coffee, and it was just as delicious. Fresh, flavorful, and the perfect start to the day. Whether you're someone who loves classic donuts or you're feeling adventurous enough to try one of their wild specialty creations, Hurts Donut is absolutely worth the visit. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town. Hurt's also offers a Military Discount.
