Purposely giving three stars so this doesn't appear just to be a mindless review. We've been coming for three years and the donuts have gotten smaller and smaller and worse and worse. I have been wanting to try this place since I first saw it and was excited. Came here right before 6am to grab donuts for work and at that time there was no line but also a select few of donuts to choose from. Thankfully they just finished making the blueberry cake donuts, my favorite kind and they were nice and warm! I also ordered donut holes and she asked me if wanted mixed bag or just one flavor. I never knew there was more than one flavor of donut holes so I chose the mixed bag and it was amazing! The chocolate donut holes were mt favorite. If you have a specific donut you want I'd recommend coming in later so they have a larger selection. And this place is pricey, I got a dozen, half dozen and donut holes which cost me over $40 so keep that in mind. Overall I liked the donuts and would come back. read more

Came here this morning about 30 minutes after they opened. I sat in the drive-thru for around 10 minutes with no response at all. Ended up having to go inside, where the same person wearing a headset helped me. After paying, the tip screen came up and they just stood there watching, which made things awkward. I didn't tip. On the positive side, the donuts themselves are amazing -- easily the best donuts in the Springs. Also, if you write a review you get two free glazed donuts, so that's a plus. Great donuts, but the service experience could definitely be better. Ambiance is pretty cool since it's just red and white but could do better in all thank you. read more

Charging for bottled water is one thing, but refusing to provide free tap water to a paying customer is just plain greedy. It's a small thing, but it says a lot about a business's priorities. Placed an online order at 4:18 Thursday night. Email confirmed the order and pick up time of 4:45. Got to the store right at 4:45 and the door was locked! The 'open' sign was still lit, so I decided to call them. Finally got an answer after calling 13 times! Was promptly told by Jason, "oh sorry we're closed!" Asked him if they are closed why did they accept the online order and charge my credit card? Was told, "the order will have to be cancelled in order to refund you." I said ok, then, cancel the order. Very disappointed in the quality of the Do-Nuts at this location. Growing up in Houston, Shipley's was the best. The donuts that are being served here are nowhere near to the quality of donuts found in Texas. They're completely different and felt like they were mostly air. Their weight was wrong, the texture was crunchy, and the flavor felt like something you'd buy that came in a box at a grocery store.
