And, the food isn't awful, actually it's satisfactory for all you can eat style sushi. So, why on earth would this place garner 2 Stars? Easy, as a solo traveler I have found my money is the same color as everyone else's. So when service is denied, or altered, my response is a heartfelt sigh! Here at Fuji, I really should have moved on when I came I and sat down. The staff got in a curfluffle that a solo eater sat in a table for two. On of the staff members directed me upstairs for solo eaters. There is was all alone, eating by myself. Shown a ringer to get staffs attention. Talk about feeling like a pariah. How can a restaurant effect my self esteem......sadly it just did. And, even worse the food is not bad, a little heavy on the rice, but places like this don't want you to eat to much. This won't happen again!!!!

We opted to skip the tasting menu (€35 per person) and ordered a handful of plates plus dessert. Every single thing that came out was fresh, beautiful, creative, and damn good. Everyone says it takes two months to get a table, but just call and ask for their next available. I called on a Friday night and they gave us a table for the following Wednesday. I wish I knew some Thai to return the favor. Osaka III is smack dab on a very touristy street near city hall and we wanted anything but tapas on our last night in Valencia. This place is known more for their buffet (€12.95 for lunch and €15.95 for dinner) but we just needed something light in our bellies before bed. A small salad of cucumbers and seaweed, two miso soups, Vietnamese style egg rolls and shrimp fried rice fit the bill. We found it to be a bit pricey, but I'm not complaining much since this place is steps away from our hotel and when in Spain, I'll take whatever Asian food I can get. We appreciated the fast service since great service in Valencia seems to be a rarity.

This is a buffet style place where it's a flat rate for anything on the menu. Note: drinks and tax are not included in the flat rate. We ordered seaweed salad, pot stickers, fried rice, lemon chicken, duck, and of course sushi. We had bottles of red wine for our drinks. I believe there was ice cream at the end but I was way too full to have one more bite. We plan to return to this fine establishment before our time in Valencia runs out.

I went there for dinner and that night there was only all-you-can-eat buffet. The food was not so good. The only dish I thought was quite good was "Pato Laqueado" which is not Japanese food. The sushi and the sashimi weren't fresh. The sushi rice tasted kind of strange. The sushi rolls and the makis were not good either. The service was slow and not friendly. The atmosphere was not bad, but the bathroom was really dirty. There were a lot of people that night (it was on a national holiday), but I don't really recommend this place if you are looking for a decent Japanese food.
