I bought a Banjo from him some time ago and have to say it was a great instrument at a terrific price! My son is currently taking guitar lessons and it is going really well. He is progressing rapidly and enjoying it thoroughly. The Good: its a local shop and it makes you feel good to support them. The people are cool and the products / repairs are great. Leon is always interesting to talk with and he has comfortable seating in the store. They also have a cool music store feel and parking is pretty good right out front. The Bad: The hours are a little restrictive, but they work out. The Ugly: There is no ugly! Cool folks, great lessons, and interesting location. We dig it! And will continue to come here.

I went back today looking for a very affordable Capo and even though they did not have exactly what I was looking for in stock (I'm picky) they offered to order it. While I was browsing, a staff member (Garrett) came to me to show me another option and was very helpful as we struck up a conversation about guitars. He was very kind and I will definitely be back. Supporting local businesses is very easy when the service and attitudes are this good.

I took a practice GRE here and the staff were very nice and helpful in explaining the differences…read morebetween the test I was taking and the real thing. However when I got there initially I was told to take a seat and they would call me in to take my exam. I sat and waited for thirty minutes before I finally went up and reminded them I was there and they took me back. I didn't really mind because it was a practice round, but if that had been my real test date it would not have helped my nerves! The computer and the station I took the actual test on was dirty and was distracting while taking the test. There was black hairs randomly on the screen and where I was supposed to place my ID which grossed me out. Overall for a testing center it was fine, but they could defiantly improve their cleaning practices!
