The barista's are friendly, humorous, knowledgeable and speedy at getting that vital caffeine shot to you. A caramelatte and two babycino's with marshmallows only set me back $5, a pleasant surprise considering what you can expect to pay at some of the more popular, common coffee franchises around. The coffee was standard fare, just average, certainly nothing to yelp about, and my girls were happy with their babycino's. The cafe has a lovely aspect out onto the street overlooking the road. The chairs are comfortable and well spaced between clients so you certainly don't get that cramped feeling. Grab a seat outside if you can. Inside can get quite loud with the constant smashing at the coffee machine. Would I return? With the plentiful cafe offerings along the stretch, I would be inclined to test some of the others first before making a final decision, purely based on the quality of my coffee. But if you're looking for a cheap, quick hit of caffeine, stop in and try it for yourself.

We are on a major road but the building is set back and there's some trees to shelter the outdoor area. On the cold and miserable day I visited they had a morning (7:30-9:30am) special of Cheese Toasties for $2.50! Both a bargain and totally appropriate for the weather. The staff were very friendly, patient and I saw staff coming from behind the bar to help people who had difficulty moving or carrying. The kitchen closes at 3pm and the whole cafe at 3:30pm. This was a very friendly little cafe and if I'm in the building again I will definitely be back.

I sent the plate back because it was drowning in Hollandaise sauce. The replacement was almost as bad but after scraping off most of the sauce it was better. I steered well clear of this location for well over 2 years but called in again in Oct 2015 and ordered the corn fritters with bacon and asked for a poached egg to be added. We both received the wrong order, corn fritters with an egg - no bacon.. Once we raised the issue they cooked us some bacon and charged us the extra cost. On our latest visit in Dec 2015 we each ordered a Chicken, Bacon & Basil Pesto Crepe. They were nice but much smaller than the same dish at Sandgate Coffee Club where we were able to share one serve for a light lunch. The serving size at Chermside was significantly smaller and we left, disappointed, in search of more food. All in all the food is ok, but definitely not on par with any other Coffee Club locations that we have visited.
