Dropped off my two wedding dresses to be tightened/pulled in. They took my measurements. I paid. We confirmed the date of pick up. I confirmed my wedding date with them as well so they would understand that the 2 weeks they said they needed was the maximum allotted time I could give before picking up the dresses.
2 weeks later, I get to the store and firstly, they can't find my outfits. Then, they state that they forgot my date and my dresses were never looked at or fixed. Lastly, that there were issues with their seamstress, that's why it didn't get done.
I don't understand how a bridal shop of all stores can demonstrate such unprofessional and incompetent behavior. Wedding outfits are a massive stress to deal with as is, without stores screwing it up.
I was fortunate enough to be able to take my dresses to a competent tailor instead, who for the work done within a day. Because that's how minimal the adjustments were in the first place, but Shingar chose to waste my time instead and displayed zero remorse. read more
