Large screens on the walls and on the ceilings to distract the little ones during their exam/cleaning and in the waiting room as well. The waiting room was stocked with some good books too! We didn't wait more than 5 minutes before being called back. Dr. Pandya made us both feel so comfortable. She has a very calm, easing presence, and is actually pretty funny :) I loved our experience there. My little guy shed some crocodile tears during his cleaning but at the end of the visit actually told me he didn't want to go home and wanted to stay there! LOL! Dr. Pandya actually did the cleaning herself l, and I love the personal attention we got. All my questions were answered and the little guy ended up warming up to her at the end. You leave the office with some cute trinkets too! Overall can't recommend this office enough!

The office is a SCAM, they would perform something you don't need at all (we had it done on 10/2021 and she did it again on 12/2021 for a out of pocket charge) and tell you to pay out of your pocket AT THE TIME of appointment, instead of informing you ahead of time, and then you are obligated to pay. We wouldn't even come over to do the cleaning if we knew they would perform something that weren't covered by the insurance. We had the exact same service done (Cleaning + Fluoride)in October 2021, and she wanted to perform the exact same thing (Cleaning + Fluoride) in early December again and the fluoride was a out of pocket thing without advance notice and permission for the December visit. Why would we need fluoride again in such a short period of time again??? The fact that they knew insurance wouldn't cover the extra service and they still offered us to do it was really bad. And the fact they didn't tell you until you are there, caused us to pay for unnecessary bills that we could have avoided. The customer service is also very unfriendly and rude when you ask them to explain why they performed something unnecessary, she couldn't give out a good answer and directed me to wait for a call back from the doctor. Dr. called back saying they have too many patients to take care of, and they couldn't track down your insurance plan. My problem was still not resolved, and she refused to divided half of my bill because of their failure to prove me a pre-estimate ahead of time, and we had to pay for the entire bill of the unnecessary services they performed. I would suggest this office to provide a pre-estimate before the appointment like most of the other dental offices do to let patient's know the financial responsibilities, a few days notice would be totally fine. There are SO MANY great pediatric dentists in the area, AVOID coming here.

By that I mean, there are several exam rooms and the walls separating them are partial. Consequently, conversations in the other rooms could easily be overheard. I got the feeling too it was an assembly line environment. The dentist was professional and diagnosed the problem and said I needed a root canal and of course a crown. The price quoted for both was about what I expected. I got a second opinion and it was the same.

1. They are not contracted with any insurance companies and yet they don't tell you that. They…read moresay they take all insurance. But that only means they will file your out of network claims. They are very reluctant to admit they do not have any insurance contacts. 2. They are crown happy. They want to put a crown every tooth that has anything wrong with it. They offer no other solutions. I call that lazy dentistry. And greedy dentistry. Because crowns are expensive. 3. Neither of the doctors have been in practice more than 5-6 years. They have all this state of the art equipment that they have to pay for. Maybe that's why they always recommend the most expensive treatment. I don't really need to see a picture of my tooth on a wide screen TV. 4. They wanted my son to get a nightguard. We paid over $800 and had to wait 3 whole months to get it. All the while he was in pain and really needed a root canal. Finally, they said, when we came back for the third time, "if you can wait an hour, we'll make the nightguard while you wait" with their 3d printer. So instead of sending it out to someone else, they made us wait 3 months until they got their printer repaired!! 4. My high functioning but autistic nephew came in needing a root canal. They told him they "took his insurance". They did not. And he ended up paying over $1,000 and having his tooth extracted when he could have gone somewhere else (in-network) for much much cheaper and perhaps saved his tooth. They took over our former dentists practice and they always called me before doing anything for prior approval. And the prior dentist really did take our insurance, in-network. 5. When my husband fell and hit his front tooth on the cement ground and needed to be seen immediately, the front desk just kept emphasizing that the doctor leaves at 4. I kept telling them we'd be there as quickly as we could, probably before then. Finally, I insisted they inform the doctor that we were on the way. They just kept telling me that I'd better get there before 4. Our doctor had just sold this practice to this group and was about to retire. was glad to see us--delighted to help. But the front desk left a bad taste in my mouth. This doctor is now retired, leaving the two younger doctors in the practice. If you have money to burn and like spending it and seeing your teeth on a big screen, well by all means, go here!

He does not automatically jump to the most expensive procedure like most dentists do these days. I totally trust his judgement in saying what treatments are needed. Up front and honest. I came to him with tooth pain and he tried his hardest to keep from performing a root canal. Even though we ended up having to do the root canal (as I expected from the beginning) it shows his character to take the time to attempt the least expensive/invasive route. My previous dentist had a long list of unnecessary work in his treatment plan. It included wanting to replace every one of my fillings with crowns. Dr Devera assured me that no work was needed at this time on these fillings. If you are looking for a dentist-definitely come here.
